Aoi finds himself pondering, shuffling nervously, awaiting change and differences to the past. But no matter how long he waits, or what he does, it will always stay the same. He was an idiot thinking he could change the past when it already happened.
The cold breeze brushes against the leaves of a nearby tree. The wind flows through the flowers next to him. He puts a shaking hand on the peddles. It felt smooth and comforting, but he quickly pulled his hand back. The same breeze brushes against his clothes, going around him and also through. He remains unmoved and unfazed. His eyes move upon the familiar faces before him, far yet not to distant at the same time. A few are playing catch with a small red ball. One attempts to climb a tree for some apples, but fails. One is playing hopscotch while a few others behind. Finally, one tries to give out smiley-shaped cookies in hopes for admiration from others.
