Izuku stumbled forward, barely managing to keep up as the pink-haired girl dragged him through the busy crowd. His heart raced, not just from the sudden excitement, but from the overwhelming surge of new sights and sounds. Earth was far more colorful than he'd ever imagined. People laughed, couples swayed to the music, and the warm scent of roses lingered in the air. He couldn’t help but smile.

Finally, the girl came to a stop in front of a group of people, most of whom had been sitting on the edge of a fountain, chatting and laughing amongst themselves. Izuku immediately recognized their voices—the same ones from earlier.

"Guys! Look who I found!" The pink-haired girl grinned proudly, as if presenting some grand prize. "This is... uh..." She paused, blinking up at Izuku expectantly.

"I-Izuku," he stammered, his cheeks flushing. This was already far more interaction than he had prepared for on his first day on Earth.

"I'm Mina!" the girl introduced herself with an infectious smile. "And this," she gestured toward her friends, "is Denki, Kirishima, and Sero."

Denki, the blonde boy with a mischievous grin, leaned in closer, examining Izuku with an amused look. "Dude, you’re really rocking that outfit. Where'd you get it?"

Izuku looked down at his clothes, the earth-like garments his celestial form had transformed into. "Uh, I… I don't really know," he admitted. "I just sort of… ended up in them."

Kirishima, the tall, red-haired boy with a sharp-toothed grin, chuckled. "That's cool! You look like you're straight out of a rom-com or something, all romantic and stuff!"

"Yeah, the girls can't stop staring at you," Sero added, elbowing Denki in the ribs.

"Their not the only one's tho!", Kirishima said, winking.

Mina looped her arm around Izuku’s, practically bouncing on her toes. "Well, we were just about to grab some food and maybe check out the fireworks later. Wanna tag along? It'll be fun!"

Izuku’s eyes sparkled. Fireworks? He had read about them but had never seen any in real life. "I'd love to!" he said, his excitement bubbling over.

The group started walking through the crowded streets, chatting  as they made their way toward the food stalls set up for the Valentine’s Day celebration. Izuku tried to keep up, absorbing everything around him—the flickering lights, the smells of different foods, the couples walking hand in hand. It was a lot to take in, but he loved every moment of it.

"So, Izuku," Denki started, leaning closer to him as they passed a particularly busy stall, "what’s your story? You don’t look like you’re from around here."

Izuku blinked. "My story? Uh, well..." He hesitated, unsure of how much he should share. He wasn’t exactly from Earth, after all. "I... just got here today, actually."

Mina gasped. "No way! It’s your first time in the city? Or first time out for Valentine’s Day?"

Izuku nodded, feeling a bit sheepish. "Yeah, both. I've always been... away, so this is all really new to me."

Kirishima patted him on the back, nearly knocking him off balance with his enthusiasm. "Well, you picked the best day to come! Valentine’s Day is awesome around here! It’s all about having fun with your friends—or, you know, maybe something a little more romantic." He winked playfully.

Izuku’s face turned a deep shade of red at the implication, but before he could respond, a loud cheer erupted from nearby. The group turned to see a man with a microphone announcing the start of a special dance under the night sky.

"Hey, let’s check that out!" Mina said, pulling Izuku toward the crowd again.

As they reached the center of the plaza, the music changed to a slower, more melodic tune. People started pairing up and swaying to the rhythm. Izuku watched in awe as couples spun and twirled under the soft glow of lanterns and fairy lights. There was something magical about the way they moved, as if the music itself was pulling at invisible strings that connected their hearts.

Suddenly, Mina turned to him with a wide grin. "Come on, Izuku! Let’s dance!"

"D-Dance?" Izuku stammered. He’d never danced before, not even back home in the celestial realm. "I don’t know how..."

"Nonsense!" Mina grabbed his hands, pulling him into the crowd. "It’s easy! Just follow my lead."

Before he knew it, they were moving in time with the music. Mina was surprisingly graceful for someone so energetic, and Izuku found himself laughing along with her as they stumbled through the steps. It wasn’t perfect, but it didn’t matter. For the first time in his life, he felt like he was truly a part of something.

As they danced, Izuku glanced around, noticing the smiles, the joy, the love that filled the air. This was what Valentine’s Day was all about. It wasn’t just about the chocolates or the flowers; it was about connection, about the bonds between people.

He could feel the heartstrings all around him, the invisible threads that tied these people together. As a Cupid, he was more in tune with those connections than anyone else, and for a brief moment, he wondered if he had the power to strengthen them, to make them even more profound.

But before he could dwell on the thought, Mina spun him around one more time, laughing as the song came to an end. "See? Told ya you could do it!"

Izuku smiled, his heart swelling with warmth. "Yeah... that was amazing."

As the group gathered around, talking about where to head next, Izuku couldn’t help but feel a sense of belonging. Maybe Earth wasn’t so different from the celestial realm after all. The love, the laughter, the connections—those were universal.

And for the first time in his life, Izuku felt like he was exactly where he was meant to be.
