     I pulled out of my lane, following Nitro down the dirt path, dry mud and soot being thrown into the air as he drove on. Melissian talked to her dolls in the back, the slight bumps in the round making her screech as she mimicked the dolls falling. But as we drove on, within minutes we were seeping into a canyon, the rock walls towering far above us.

I dialed the radio, 'Are sure this is the place?' My hesitant foot on the pedal pulling back slightly.

'When have I ever been wrong before?' I sighed as his words and Mel giggled in the back seat.

The canyon walls suddenly dropped and opened into a hidden lake. The crystal waters glowing in the setting sun, its waters rippling in the warm evening breeze. I knew my brother likes shiny things, but this is a bit excessive, even for him.

My alt mode's wheels drag along the torn surface of an abandoned petrol station, the withered trees crumbling slowly into the shattered windows.

I drag back the hand break, straightening up the wheels and rolling up the window. I watch as Nitro pulls in beside me, his holo-form nodding to me before glitching slightly. Gritting my teeth, I look into the back seat, Mel's big green eyes staring back at me, her dolls dropping from her small fingers as she smiled to me.

'Now, Melissian,' I sigh as she pulls over her small backpack, shoving her back dolls inside, 'Do you remember what I told you about my brother?'

She hesitantly nods, 'He not a very nice person and he gay.'

My hand collides with my face, and I groan into my palm, 'I meant knowing he's not a good person,' I pause then begin laughing, 'but yes, I'm fairly certain he's gay.' I wave my hands, 'I don't think he knows it, so keep it to yourself.' She brings her index finger to the point of her nose and her shoulders rise and fall with her chuckles.

I hear the familiar clank as Nitro transforms and I turn, pushing open the driver's door, 'Stay in the car Mel, until I come to get you.' She smiles, oozing down to her fingers. Her brow was rested as she moved them confusingly until her thumbs popped up and she held them out. I laughed at the pride on her face, and I stepped onto lakeside.

Slamming the door shut, I stepped to Nitro. His towering for more intimidating at my holo-form's short 5'2. He raised his hand toward an approaching shuttle, I nodded, leaning up against my alt form.

I'll have to stay in my human form until I can get Melissian back into her alt form, but I'd prefer to do it just before we leave. Due to her small size the transition can be very tiring. So hopefully she will sleep for most of the flight, maybe even when we get to base. She would be a little less hassle if so.

The shuttle begins to land a few yards away, the thrusters pulling back as the stands collide with the floor. Within seconds the large bay door begins falling to the floor, making the valley echo it's loud thud. Dust from the force flew into the air masking the identity of the approaching mech.

Nitro shuffles slightly blocking the approaching mech from my alt form, not for me, but for Melissian. I step forward squinting into the thrown-up dust, the slender form, the clicking of their footsteps vibrate through the ground.

I gasp watching Starscream stepping free from mud, his slender wings tucked behind him, his long face looking even more miserable from my place on the ground. I watch his gaze as it trails from Nitro down to me, causing him to grimace slightly at my human form.
