Chapter 3: Kishibe's Perfect Test

Kage and Virtue were going to where Kishibe told them to go, Kage felt like he was in the yakuza again, being told what to do by those in higher power.

Kage: Dammit, Grandad would hate how much of a dog I've become..

Virtue: Hey, stop beating yourself up over this, and besides, I'm sure he wouldn't care.

Kage: Easy for you to say, you don't have a family, fiend.

Virtue stopped, standing  in front of him.

Virtue: Seriously,  what's your problem?

Kage: I don't wanna be here. That's my problem.

Virtue: Well you're here, fucker, so toughen up.

Kage grabbed her by the throat with both hands. She tried to scream, but her throat hitched as he was choking her.

Virtue: ACK - get the hell off me!

She kicked him in the balls, but he was just unfazed.

Kage: Fucking idiot.

She finally grabbed his throat, his throat burning.

Kage: AGH- Motherfucker-

He let go, and both fell to the ground.

Virtue: Don't ever fucking do that again, you hear me!?

Kage: Alright Alright,  fine, you bitch.

They both got up finally and ended up in a warehouse, seeing kishibe sitting on a crate, drinking.

Quanxi: Took you long enough.

Kishibe: Listen up, all I want is your honest opinions and answers,  nothing more, nothing less.

Kage and Virtue look at each other, then him.

Kishibe: How did you react to seeing your comrades die.

Kage: Freaked out, but didn't care.

Virtue: Kinda sad, but it's not worth crying over unless I knew them better.

Kishibe: Do either of you want revenge because of what's happened.

Kage: I only want revenge for Granddad, I don't give a fuck about those bastards.

Virtue: I don't understand the point of revenge. You'll only start another cycle.

Kishibe: Which side are you on, devils or humans.

Kage: Whichever one is useful.

Virtue: The one that's in the right.

Kishibe turns around.

Kishibe: You 2 have to be the most self entitled brats I've ever seen.

Kage and Virtue look confused.

Kage: The fuck do you mean.

Virtue: What? You wanted our honest answers and opinions.

Kishibe: You failed..so you get to deal with quanxi..

Quanxi finally looked at the hybrid and fiend in front of her.

Kage: This should be easy. She's even blind.

Virtue: Idk, Katana, she seems Hella powerful.

Kishibe just walked away, speaking to Quanxi before he left.

Kishibe: Don't take all day.

Quanxi just sighed.

Quanxi: Bout time.

Quanxi snapped Kage's neck and broke Virtue's jaw, knocking them both out.

Quanxi dropped a lighter in Virtue's mouth and spilled a blood packet into kage's mouth, waking both up.

Quanxi: Get up, I'm not done.

Kage: Jesus..

Virtue: Told you grandma had hands.

Quanxi: I told you get up.

They were able to dodge Quanxi, but she immediately kicked both of them, sending them flying.

Kage: AGH-

Virtue: OOF-

They both got up only to get sent flying again.

Quanxi appeared in front of both, looking down at them.

Quanxi: I'll be back. Get enough rest so you'll be able to at least block my punches.
