I eat the sweet fruity cherry ice cream into my mouth feeling it melt in there.
I feel a pair of devil eyes on me and I turn my head to look at my best friend Felix and he has his hand under his chin and just stares at me almost like he's admiring me.
"What are you looking at?" I ask him chuckling a bit putting more ice cream in my mouth before it melts and I notice a devious smirk rising on his face.
He always does this.
When I'm really concentrated studying for an exam or anything, or when I'm cooking or baking for fun, and when I'm playing the piano for him and when I'm watching my favorite show Locke & Key.
"I'm admiring how much you love cherry ice cream that's all." He says and I look down hiding the smile and blush growing on my face.
Before I can say anything back is when Travis runs in the shared apartment of Felix and I's looking like he's out of breath.
He sits down also looking like someone just blew up his whole world just in a few hours.
"What's wrong Travis?" I ask him sitting in front of him and Felix looks at him with hidden concern on his face.
But I can see right through him, I know he loves Travis like he's his own brother.
"My parents and Victoria's parents are arranging us in marriage to save her dad's company from a bad investment." He says and I gasp loudly not expecting him to say that and even Felix has a little shock on his face.
"Oh my god!"
"I'm sorry Travis, what are you guys gonna do?" Felix ask him while I recover from pure shock cause I don't know about you but Victoria Hicks and Travis Boyd married is the most funniest thing in the world.
"We're gonna stick through the engagement but when the wedding day comes we're calling it off." He explains and I think that's not a bad plan actually.
My dings when a text message so I leave the room to go see who it's from.
Unknown: what happens to a body when it's taken advantaged of?
I stare at my phone not knowing or understanding what I just read.
This can't be real it just can't.
I thought I buried this truth and forgotten about it and that nobody knew about it.
"Red!"
I noticed Nicole's been in her room for a while now so I call for her after Travis left having to meet up with his fiancé.
Jesus fucking Christ!
Travis being married is like saying pigs can fly but after this talk I'm starting to think pigs really can fly after all.
"Where's Travis?" She ask me walking out of her room and she kinda looks shaken up to me but I ignore it thinking it's just my paranoid brain saying that.
I can be a bit over protective when it comes to Nicole.
"He had to leave cause he was meeting up with his fiancé Victoria Hicks." I tell her and she chuckles and I chuckle too cause it is funny since Travis is a playboy and is now in a arranged marriage cause of his parents.
She heads to the kitchen when my phone goes off with a text message from an unknown number.
Unknown: what ever happened to the last girl you were 'over protective' with?
I put my phone down and sit down as Nicole comes back with some strawberry cheesecake cookies she's made for our fruity ice creams.
She eats and I just watch her never wanting her to find out the truth of what happened with the last girl.
