Pierre hated flying private, Well not fully, the Idea of a pilot crashing because of a bad day didn't bother him. He hated flying with people he didn't know. Petra had gotten to know everyone at her parties. Except Lando, who never really needed advice and would spend parties with Daniel or Charlos. Oscar was a quiet person and Never showed up to parties, so Pierre didn't know anything about him. Pierre decided to get some sleep since Lando, and Max were busy and Oscar was writing. About forty minutes into the flight Pierre was awoken by Lando laughing.
"You so are, tho," Lando laughed
"What's going on?" pierre asked
"I asked if I was boring. Lately people have been commenting that I'm boring, and if I post a joke, I'm the real Joke."Oscar said, He sounded flat, like even this couldn't bring out an emotion.
"How does it make you feel?" Pierre asked. Pierre had spent a lot of time studying people and he knew some couldn't show emotion unless it was overwhelming.
"I don't know. It's kinda frustrating I guess." Oscar replied. He didn't expect for anyone to care. He Just wanted Know if it was true.
"Well, If you went out more maybe more people would find you fun," Lando said
"Yeah, like where," Oscar asked.
"you could go to parties," Max said. Lando looked straight at him before shaking his head, No.
"It's not polite to show up to a party uninvited and the last party invite I got was when I was Ten for My Sister's birthday. pretty sure she didn't want to invite me either."
"you have been in F1 for about five years, yes?" Pierre asked.
"Yeah,"
"At ten a year. That's Fifty invites you turned down plus ten from petra. So at least sixty parties you couldn't make it to," Pierre said.
"I don't know what you're on about. First I don't know Petra and second no one on the grid has invited me to anything."
"Petras, my cousin, and I tell Lando to invite you to every party I throw. He always tells us you're busy." Pierre and Oscar both looked at Lando for an explanation.
"Right, about that. I talked to Charles and Carlos. They said you were just being nice, but that you didn't want him there. So to save feeling I didn't invite him and said he was busy," Lando said, flashing a smile, in hopes that they would understand.
"Wow, and I thought Ocon was a bad friend," Pierre laughed. He got out of his seat and moved into the one next to Oscar. "You're not boring, you Just need to open up more. Also you're hard to read so try telling people how you feel."
"That's easier said than done," Oscar admitted.
"Well take it slow then. How about, we make it a point to get to know each other in our downtime this week. And I be the one to find
the small signs of emotion," Pierre suggested. Pierre extended his hand and Oscar hesitantly shook it.
"Make sure I'm up by the time we land." Oscar said, curling up in his chair. Pierre looked at the countdown clock at the front of the cabin. The group didn't know where they were going but did know how long they would be in the air. It said they Still had six hours.
