It was another cold morning, the snow more silent than usual. Dark Cacao was sitting in his throne, thinking about something, until.

Affogato came, interrupting his peace alone, which made Dark Cacao a bit annoyed by his presence.
Tho, Affogato is supposed to be banned from the kingdom due to his betrayal.

Dark Cacao glared at Affogato for coming back to the Dark Cacao kingdom

"You..."
Dark Cacao said, still glaring at Affogato

"what are you doing here?! You are banned from the kingdom!"
Dark Cacao said in anger

"yes, I know, but I apologize please. Please I regret everything that I've caused to the Dark Cacao kingdom."
Affogato said, a bit desperate

"did you not hear me? You are BANNED from the kingdom! Do NOT come back, or else there will be consequences."

"My liege, please-"
Affogato by Dark Cacao's sword being pointed at his neck, which made him nervous

The sword was almost touching Affogato's neck. It had a stinging sense to the skin, making Affogato more nervous as Dark Cacao moved the sword closer and closer to Affogato's neck

"Get. Out. Now"
Dark Cacao said, in a serious tone

"my liege... Please listen... I want come back, to help yous defeat Dark Enchantress. I cannot bear to see her tear away homes. Especially my family getting taken away by her. Please... I would like to help yous... If I ever betray yous ever again, I'll allows yous to end my life..."

Dark Cacao thought of that. He knew that Affogato's family was taken away from him, but he doesn't know if he would trust Affogato for what the chaos he caused in the Dark Cacao kingdom

After a bit, Dark Cacao made his decision
"hm... Fine, I'll allow you to help."

Affogato was relieved, now calming down before saying

"I will not disappoint you."

The next day, Affogato helped the other's in protecting the village, but always helping Dark Cacao as his assistant

As the days went on and on, Dark Cacao had approved Affogato's behavior in the kingdom, making Dark Cacao have a liking in Affogato... A bit too much tho

One day, Dark Cacao was sitting on his throne, thinking about Affogato

"my liege, are you alright?"
Dark Cacao snapped out of his thoughts, looking at Affogato.
"yes, yes I am alright."
Dark Cacao didn't realize he was a bit flustered, until Affogato pointed it out

"you seem a bit flustered, my liege. Why is that?" Affogato said, in a bit of confusion.
Dark Cacao immediately realized that he has been blushing this whole time, getting a bit embarrassed
"maybe you have take a liking in someone?" Affogato suggested

Dark Cacao stayed silent for a bit, before responding "yds... Yes, I have taken a liking in someone... Affogato, come here." he commanded.
Affogato obeyed and went over to the king, making Dark Cacao a bit satisfied
Dark Cacao grabbed Affogato's chin, and gently kissed Affogato, before quickly pulling away

Affogato blushed, not expecting the king to kiss him, but it warmed his heart
