Baby, when I'm with you,
I don't care if we do nothing
So comfortable, I fall over with
laughter over nothingDaisies linked with wild clovers looks really, really cute intertwined in your ivory tresses, though I am biased because I'm the one who knotted it all together. Your eyes are closed against the bleeding sun, so you can't see me admiring your magnificence. The others can, but you are oblivious to the fact that I simply cannot peel my gaze from your delicate, pristine features. Being bathed in the peachy hues of the sunset only makes them all the more ethereal. You are, without a doubt, the most divine creature I have ever laid eyes on.
"You think you imagined him, Lu?" Kibum nudges my leg with his foot teasingly.
"I fear I may have," I sigh, my gaze sliding down the length of your form.
"Romance actually isn't dead in a shallow grave!" Flick cheers, blowing a dead dandelion in my direction.
"What does that mean?" Flora asks, her eyes wide.
"Flick probably killed somebody," Jinki fiddles with his own flower crown, "Or helped hide a body."
"Oh, I wouldn't put it past her," I say, "But she's referring to the fact that Jonghyun and I are finally together, so romance isn't dead."
"It was just on vacation," Minho offers.
"We'll go with that," I agree.
"I personally think that Flick probably held it hostage and threatened it until you and Jonghyun got together," Kibum sprawls out in the grass.
"Bingo," Felicity says.
Today is the last full day of our camping trip. Despite the few mishaps, the whole thing was a wonderful experience, and I would not trade the last few weeks for anything in the world. Especially with you.
I scooch forward on my belly, propping myself up on my elbows. "Hey."
Your eyes bat a few times before deciding to keep them open. "Hey, you."
"Napping?"
"Just resting my eyes."
"You've got the dad-response down pat."
"I am in fact the loving father of one lovely kitten," you reply drowsily.
I cock my head playfully, bumping your nose with mine. "Ever consider having real babies?"
"With you? Yeah," you grin.
I don't expect to flush the way I do at your reply. "O-oh!"
"Hmm?" you kiss me chastely, "You prompted this, you know."
"I know, but you- you were so direct,"
"No beating around the bush anymore," you say.
"I agree," I murmur, pecking your cheek, "Let's say exactly what we're feeling, okay? That way we can avoid conflicts."
"Yes, my love," you say.
"Ugh. You guys are so cute, it's sickening," Kibum mock-retches.
"Or just sickening," Taemin mutters.
"One day, Taem, darling, you will fall in love. And you will realize the beauty and wonders of it." You say with a simple smile.
"Yeah, sure, okay," Taemin rolls his eyes.
"What, you're telling me you're not in love with me?" Minho feigns a broken heart, "Wow. Okay."
"Oh, you're hilarious," Taemin sticks his tongue out.
