Here's four questions I think the readers will have
Q. is Julian a Demi-god
A. No, currently Alissa is more related to a god then he is. He has Monster parts, like a Monster Heart, hes a chimera using parts and pieces. So genetically he is a Monster and Human but hes an Artificial person. The monsters related to him are not gods. They dont possess world changing powers or possess the ability to procreate with people. He is a freak of nature like a human orc. Or a humanoid monster.
Q. Can monsters evolve
A. When Monsters are pushed to an extreme they rapidly experience changes. Which is why adventurers remove the heart. If the heart isnt removed there is no guarantee that the monster is dead.
Q What's the difference between demi gods and everyone else.
Example, Orc King Markings is a skill belonging to Julian
Example Alissa Skill is Chantless Magic, and because shes a demi god, she posses strength and speed that surpasses most
She was taking it easy since there was no magic involved it was a swordplay test.
A. People related to monsters have access to skills. While normally elves daemons beastmen are only capable of using magic not skills. Since monsters usually cannot chant incantation. Alot of them can still access mana and weaponize it by using skills. Its a monster only trait so a demi-god are usually the only one capable of using it.
Q. What are Gods.
A: Gods are monsters, Monsters who possess world changing power & are also intelligent are considered Gods. There can be god like monsters who are not considered gods due to things like intelligence . Gods can shapeshift and take "Human form".
