Kartik leans back on his seat and folds his arms... "I don't know about that... We never know what's written next..." He winks...

Ananya sighs, then slides her phone inside her purse and proceeds to sleep...

Kartik just smiled like she just kissed her and then proceeded to sleep too....

*A few hours later*

The flight landed in the US- Massachusetts (US State)... Everyone was onboarding from the plane but these two... Yes, I am talking about Ananya & Kartik... They were both sleeping, with Ananya's head on his shoulder...

The Air hostess comes to them and taps twice on Kartik's shoulders....

Kartik wakes up....

"Woah! What?" He said, suprised...

The Air hostess replies softly, "Sir, your destination is here... Now others will board this flight..."

"Oh!" Kartik realizes... He was about to get up but saw Ananya sleeping...

"Ma'am–" the Air hostess tried to wake her up but Kartik shushes her...

"Shh... Let her sleep..." He said, I'm still looking at Ananya... "Wake her up when I am gone...okay?"

The Air hostess confusingly nods, "uh- fine...."

Then Kartik gently keeps her head leaning to the window and gets up... He gets off the flight and then.. I won't tell you where he went🤫...

After he is gone, the Air hostess proceeds to wake Ananya up... "Ma'am... Ma'am!–"

"MUMMYYY!!!" Ananya jerks up... The hostess was still in shock that what did she even do to her?

"Ma..Ma'am... Are you okay?" The hostess asks...

Ananya finally gets on her senses and nods her head... "Yeah... I- I am..." She replies... "Where's everyone?"

"They have already unboarded... You were still sleeping..." The hostess replies...

"Oh!" She muttered... Then she looked beside her where Kartik was sitting...

Ananya's Pov:-

I looked beside where that guy was sitting.... But there's no one... Did he really just go without even waking me up? Fuvk him! What a guy!

"Ma'am, I guess others are waiting to board, you should leave..." The Air hostess says...

I quickly get up and pick up my purse... "Right. Sorry..." I offered a smile of embarrassment and finally got off...

As I came to pick up my luggage, one guy collided with me.

"Oww! I'm sorry..." I apologise.

That guy takes one step back and yells, "Are you blind, idiot!?"

Because of his loud voice, everyone started looking their way.

I look at him. "First thing, I wasn't the one who collided. And second, I still apologized to you! What's your problem?"

That guy snatches my luggage and throws it on the floor. "You deserve it." He said, gritting his teeth.

Rage fills inside me. "Hey, Mister. You know what? Throwing my luggage won't prove me wrong. I could do the same thing to you."

That guy laughs. "Oh!? Really? It's a shame I don't have any luggage."

"Who said about the luggage?" I say before kicking him right below his stomach and making him fall on the floor.

"H..hey you!!" He growls.

I ignore his nonsense and pick up my luggage to leave...

While going, I his voice from behind. "You'll regret it, bi*ch!"

And I ignore it too...

Suddenly one guys starts clapping. I turn back to see who it is...

Him!?

Kartik, the one who sat beside me the whole journey, hasn't left yet? Good, now I am gonna teach him a lesson too...

"Woah, Marshmallow...!" He exclaims. "You're a badass."

"Now I'll kick your ass..." I glare at him...

"Oh! I'm sorry, if that offended you... I just meant to praise you." He explains.

I roll my eyes. "I don't need any compliment from you..."

"Fine! God! You're so hard to get!" Kartik sighs.

I just realised that everyone was still looking at me. "Am I that attractive that I attracted you all?"  I growl at them.

Everyone starts resuming their own work...

Kartik walks near me and bends down to dust my luggage. I just look at him.

"Well, If you don't mind..." He says while dusting off my luggage. "I can drop you wherever you want to go."

"No. Thank you." I reply really fast. "Why didn't you wake me up when we arrived?"

Kartik looks at me, and smiles. "I didn't want to disturb a beauty in her beauty sleep."

His words flushes my cheeks and I try hard not to blush. I look around and pull my luggage to myself. "It's already clean... Will you make it transparent now?"

He chuckles. "Uh-hum, no... Well, where are you going after this?"

"Why does that matter?"

He gets up and raises his hands, "Just asking."

I shrug my shoulders and sigh. Just then, I recieved one call. It's Niya!

*On call*

Me: Yeah, Niya?

Kartik's gaze snaps at mine.

Niya: Yeah, sweetie. I wanted to ask if you met my brother...?

Me: No, I haven't. But why would I?

Niya: I told you na, just in case. He also works in that MIT University as a part time. You can ask help from him for studies.

Me: I don't need it yet. I will find him when I need to... Okay?

Niya: Hmm...ok...but, where are you staying?

Me: Haven't decided. I am thinking of booking a hotel room.

Niya: No need! My brother has a duplex house there! You can stay–

Me: I have said I will manage! Your brother's name is Karish ryt?

Kartik stares at me like I just kissed him.

Niya: Umm...yeah...but....–

Me: It's fine! Now I need to go or I'll have to stay at the airport.

Niya: Okay....bye...

*Call ends*

"So..." Kartik starts. "What did Niya say?"

I sigh. "Why do you need to know everything?" I pause. "Wait... How do you know her name is Niya?"
