I had been waiting for Sylus all day, eagerly anticipating his arrival. He was always so busy with his mysterious work, often leaving me alone in this grand mansion with only his trusted men, Luke and Keiran, for company. I was curious about Sylus and his life; he intrigued me, but he remained an enigma.

As the hours ticked by, my patience wore thin. I spotted an expensive bottle of wine on the table, a rare treat that Sylus had acquired from some far-off land. Without a second thought, I grabbed the bottle and poured myself a glass. The wine was rich and flavorful, a perfect companion for my restless mind.

Luke and Keiran entered the room, their eyes widening in surprise at seeing me drinking their boss's prized wine. "Please, accompany me," I begged, my voice laced with desperation. "I need someone to talk to. It's been so lonely here."

Little did I know, Sylus had already arrived at the mansion and was secretly observing me. He signaled to his minions, instructing them not to reveal his presence. I felt a bit foolish, but I needed company, and I didn't care who.

As we sat and chatted, I voiced my thoughts about Sylus. "What do you think of Sylus?" I asked, taking a sip of wine.

"Oh, he's an interesting man," Luke replied. "A bit mysterious, but a good person at heart."

"Yeah, he cares deeply for those close to him," Keiran added.

"He sure did" I said, my voice laced with uncertainty "He was supposed to be an enemy but now, i dont know anymore."

They exchanged a glance, as if sharing a secret. "Our boss is more than he seems," Luke said. "He has a good soul, and he would do anything to protect those he cares about."

I couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity and, perhaps, something more. "I really wonder if he cares about me" I asked, my voice soft and hesitant.

Keiran smiled warmly. "Of course, he does. He trusts you enough to bring you into his world."

"But I don't understand his gaze," I confessed. "Sometimes, when he looks at me, it's like he's heartbroken. And there's this longingness in his eyes that I can't quite explain."

The two assistants looked at each other, a hint of unease in their eyes. "Well, he does have a complicated past," Luke mumbled, clearing his throat.

At that moment, Sylus decided to reveal himself, entering the room with a confident stride. "Seems like you've been enjoying my wine while I was away," he said, a hint of amusement in his deep voice.

Luke and Keiran, sensing their boss's arrival, took their leave, leaving Sylus and me alone. He took my hand and led me to his bedroom.

As I sleep on his luxurious bed, Sylus sat beside me, his hand gently caressing my hair. "You're so innocent, yet so brave," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear. "If I tell you the truth about me, would you even believe it?"

His words sent a shiver down my spine. I wanted to know more, but my sleepiness kicks in, Sylus leaned in and kissed my forehead tenderly. He lay down next to me, pulling me close, and I could feel the warmth of his body.

"And I hope one day, when the time is right, you'll remember me and all that we shared." He whispered gently.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a sense of peace, unaware of the secrets Sylus held or the significance of his words. Little did I know, my life was about to become even more entangled with this enigmatic man, and the truth would change everything.

But for now, I surrendered to the comfort of his embrace, my curiosity about Sylus burning brighter than ever.
