"Mmm... Whaaaaat do you wantttt.." You groaned as you got poked out of your sleep. Why are the lights off?

"Oh shit!" You fall off your chair and onto the floor only to realize you were pushed- more like nudged- but whatever.

"What the fu-" "Language." You got cut off. What the- more like who the- hell just pushed you?

You look up to find Moon standing over top of you. "Dude! Come on! Why'd you push meee..." You dragged out as you wiped away the tiredness from your eyes then proceeded to thrash your head back.

"Because one, it's 5:30-" "FIVE. THIRTY?!" You immediately snap your gaze back to Moon. "I've been asleep for TWO. HOURS?!" He mumbles "More like two and a half but alright." You give him a sarcastic grin.

He continues "...and two, Sun has been up in our room sense the parent rush. He won't come out." Huh, that's... weird.

"I don't know what happened, but he shut off his communication with me. He never does that. Makes me worry..." He trails off, looking at the balcony, which had its curtains closed.

There's silence between you two for forever. Meaning 5 seconds. You decide to break it.

"I can go talk to him if you'd like..?" He snaps back to you as he was lost in thought. That thought being worry for his 'brother'.

They're more of friends that have this 'you're my brother' type bromance. It was kinda weird so to say. Couldn't really wrap your finger around it.

"Please do, even when I go up there he just tells me to go away." He sighs. "Alright then," you stand up, brushing yourself off, "I'll be on my way. Cya Moon."

You turn to leave but then the ground feels like it left you somehow. Like it ran from you, and you ran from it. Well, more like fly from it- Wait. FLY?!

You scream a bit, grabbing onto Moon the best you can. "MOON! PUT ME DOWN! YOU KNOW I HATE HEIGHTS!!" You close your eyes tight, shoving your face into his shoulder.

"Almost there Starlight, plus, would you rather take the long way?" "YES I WOULD RATHER TAKE THE LONG WAY! At Least that way I'm still on the ground!"

A couple seconds past, which felt like forever, when you realize you're finally on the balcony.

Once you stand on the floor, out of Moons' hold, you turn to him and shove him a bit in a playful way.

"Don't do that again! You jerk." You whisper the last part while folding your arms. Moon chuckles a little at your reaction.

He ruffles your hair a bit before lightly talking. "No promises. But please, check up on him for me." You pause for a second, gazing up at Moon. " I will."

--------------★--------------

A couple minutes after Moon left you decided to sit down and dangle your feet off the edge. Just.. thinking.

Yeah.

Thinking.

Thinking of how to start the conversation. ’Hey Sun, Debra is a b!tch.’ Nope. Not like that. Maybe… ’Yo sup Sun? Why’d you come up here and hide-’ Again, no. D@mn, you sucked at starting conversations.

You took in a slow and deep breath. You stand up with your eyes closed, running your hands down your face as you breathe out. You open your eyes and turn around to face the curtains. “What could go wrong?” You asked yourself.

You slowly open the curtains to allow yourself and the fake moonlight to shine through. It was silent. Almost like the room was the only thing behind the curtains. But you knew that Sunny was back here... somewhere.

“Sun? Where are you buddy? You call out. You heard a little bit of shifting in the corner of the room. The corner it came from was to the left of you, next to Moon’s room.

You walk over to the railing, peering over to see if Sun was there. And lucky for you, he was.

“Hey Su-” “Hey... need something?” There was no tone in his voice so you couldn’t read out any of his emotions. He was also looking forward so you couldn’t see his face.

“Yeah.. actually.” You confirm as you turn around, going down the ladder, then going back over to him. Just standing there, with your hands in your pockets. He was sitting in a criss-cross position.

When you looked at him he had looked away. Although you did see his face. His cheeks were stained with tears.

“Oh you poor thing…” You say with a sad look. You walk over and crouch in front of him.

He scrunches his face with sorrow, trying to turn away more, but you cupped his cheek, making him face you. Although he still doesn't look at you.

“You said you needed something, correct? What did you need...?” His voice was hollow, even through his attempt of a small joyful tone.

“Yeah, I need to talk to you. Make sure you’re ok, though clearly, you’re not.” With the last sentence he looks at you, a new, singular, tear rolling down his cheek. You wipe away the tear with your thumb and frown up at him.

You could sense a breakdown about to happen. Out of all of the emotions, you can easily read sadness, loneliness, and breakdowns. Hell, you didn’t even know why. Like, thanks for the useless gift, man. Or not so useless gift…

“Sunshine…” He whispered, leaning into your touch. After a moment he grabs your waist and pulls you into a hug, making you sit on his lap.

As you sat in his lap, you put your legs around him. He shoves his face into your shoulder, now starting to cry.

He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer. You run your hand through his hair, trying to calm him.

What happened?

You could quite put your finger on it. You knew it had something to do with Debra. That bitch.

After a moment, you hesitantly ask “Sunny... what happened?
