“They seem to heal better than I had assumed. Just a couple more days and everything would be almost back to normal. Though, my Lord would have to be careful when it comes to heavy lifting or sudden shoulder moments.” Taehyung mumbles, inspecting the wound around the shoulder.
“Well, sounds like everything I already know,” Jeongguk mumbles, looking at the almost healed scratches around his wrists and arms while Taehyung moves to make the paste and apply it on his wounds.
“This isn't as heavy as what I had put on all earlier so it wouldn't itch but my Lord would need to get the dressing changed before evening. I would suggest that My Lord gets the dressing changed by me itself but any healer would do the work, the medicines would just differ and hence the effectiveness could be slowed down or speed up“
“Alright, is that all?”
Taehyung hums, putting away the vials. “Yes, I assume that’ll be all.”
“Good, i’ll get going then”
While Jeongguk is busy wearing his clothes, Taehyung gets on his knees before him. Taehyung gives a full body bow as he says, “I would humbly request my Lord to not set any investigation on me. It was solely an accident and I had no intentions to harm you, My Lord.”
Jeongguk hums, giving a nod. “Alright, I'll think about it.” The alpha wants to leave it at that since it’s better to not let others know what he has going on in his head but when he looks at the worried expression of the omega.
He can’t help but feel the need to assure him. It happened last night as well, Jeongguk doesn't understand why he can’t stick to what he always normally does.
The alpha feels so conflicted when it comes to his own emotions and actions. It’s like his brain and the rest of his body are two different entities. Despite knowing that he shouldn't for various kinds of reasons, Jeongguk can't help but assure him.
“You have done nothing to set me off so far, Taehyung, so I don't see why I would put an investigation on you. I’ve better things to work on than a mere healer like you. So don’t worry, you’re safe for now or until your little tigress goes out of food resources and decides you’re going to be her next meal, I suppose.” Jeongguk shrugged.
Despite Jeongguk’s casual way of talking about his death, Taehyung couldn't help but smile at the assurances. He understands that as the crowned prince, the alpha shouldn't tell a potential criminal they're off the hook but Jeongguk did. Taehyung can’t help but feel grateful for it.
“Thank you, my Lord. I’ll never forget my lord’s mercy.”
“I’ll get going,” Jeongguk shrugs, walking past the bowed omega.

When Jeongguk enters his house, he finds that Eun-woo is about to leave for somewhere.
“Where are you going so early in the morning?” Jeongguk questions, closing the door behind himself.
The alpha scans the younger alpha from top to bottom, he raises a brow at the dishevelled attire of the younger alpha. Eun-woo is generally very prim and proper, he likes to keep himself tidy and ready at all moments. So this sight is quite a surprise for the alpha.
“Were you struck by yesterday’s storm or what? What happened to you?”
“Your-Your Highness—”
“Yes?” Jeongguk leaned against the door, unable to understand why Eun-woo looked so worried. It isn't the first time Jeongguk had to stay away for the night, he always comes back by the morning even if he has informed otherwise to the younger.
