CHAPTER - 8

As Aarohi was following her daily routine of annoying Kabeer and done with her shift, she packed her bag and about to leave when she saw Kabeer's cabin lights are still on "Kabeer abhi tak office hai, pichle kuch dino se to wo jaldi ghar ja rahe hai, 8 baj gaye hai aur wo abhi tak yahi hai" she said to herself and move towards his cabin. Aarohi knocked Kabeer's door several times but didn't got any response so she entered without his permisson. When Aarohi entered his cabin she saw Kabeer's resting with his heads down on his table, Aarohi stood there admiring the view in front of her. 

"He must be tired from all the work" she mumbled beneath. She didn't knew why but she had this sudden urge to touch his face as she saw some the hairs coming down on his forehead, so she went near him and touched his forehead but to her surprise Kabeer was having a high fever.

"Inhe to bohot tez bukhar hai" she said bit loudly which made Kabeer wake up 

Kabeer - "Miss Singhania, aap yaha kya kar rahi hai" he said in low voice 

Aarohi - "It's Aarohi for you Kabeer, kitni bar to bola hai aapko, aur aapko pata bhi hai ki kitna tez fever hai aapko, aapne kisi ko btaya kyun nahi" she said in worried tone

Kabeer - "Doesn't matter, normal viral hai, apne aap thik ho jayega, you don't have to worry about me, please leave it's already late"

Aarohi - "No, It's not normal viral Kabeer, you have a high fever, just wait for a moment here"

Kabeer - "Miss Singhania, I said leave, I don't need anyone, I won't repeat myself" Kabeer said in a bit loud voice

Aarohi - "I'm sorry Mr. Kabeer Rajvansh, but I'm deaf for today so I can't hear you at all"

Kabeer - "Aapko sayad idea nahi hai ki meri baat na manne ka kya natija ho sakta hai"

Aarohi - "Kya krenge aap, job se nikal denge, I don't care, abhi aapki tbiyat thik nahi hai and that's what matter to me now"

Aarohi bring out a bowl of cold water and a wet towel, she looks at Kabeer and said "Come here, is sofe par beth jaiye aur apna blazer uthariye" Kabeer who was not in full senses listens her and do the same. Aarohi made him lay down on couch and puts the wet towel on his forehead and follows the same procedure till his fever goes down then she went outside and bring some soup and medicine with her.

Aarohi - "lijiye pahle yeh soup pi lijiye phir aapko yeh dwai bhi leni hai"

Kabeer - "I don't take medicines"

Aarohi - "5 saal ke chote bacche hai kya aap, aise kaise nahi lenge medicine aap"

Aarohi was feeding him soup and Kabeer was looking at her with amazed eyes which Aarohi noticed.

Aarohi - "Aap mujhe aise kyun dekh rahe hai"

Kabeer - "You have changed a lot, Aarohi"

Aarohi - "You too ......but you know, a change is must, warna duniya aage aur hum piche reh jate hai, SIR"

Kabeer - "You think so, a lot has happened with me maybe you don't know about it yet"

Aarohi - "I know everything.....Kabeer"

Kabeer was looking at her with questioning eyes

Aarohi - "Kab pata chala, kaise pta chla, doesn't matter," Aarohi set down on her knees "Aapko pata hai Kabeer, kai bar sone ko jwellery banne ke liye garm aag se hoke gujrana padta hai, you know sometimes, some people come in our life just to taught us something, Natasha aapki life mein ek lesson banke aai thi aur aapko aapki life ka sabse bada sabak de gayi, but do you really think that someone like her who didn't value your love, deserve this much impact on you.
