Your eyes light up. Just the words you've been waiting to hear. You hurry over to Alucard, a smile appearing on your face as you approach him in the doorway. He sees you coming, smiling softly as he finds your excitement delightful. You exit the doorway, waiting in the hall until you finally come out. He shuts the door behind you and begins walking, expecting you to follow. You do, a few paces behind him. You walk behind him , watching his back as the two of you walk down to the armory together. You watch the way he walks, the sound of his boots echoing down the corridor as the two of you walk. The way his hair swishes on his back. You see his arms raise, his hands moving to his ponytail. He unties his hair, his long blonde hair swishing down his back. You think he looks almost angelic as the two of you make your journey through the castle.
Your thoughts are silenced as the two of you reach the armory, Alucard opening the doors for you. You see the sword you had picked out yesterday, perfectly racked up and waiting for you. Alucard folds his arms over his chest, leaning against the doorway again as he looks at you.
"Go ahead," Alucard instructs you, happily watching you walk in and head towards the sword. You pick it up, holding it by its leather-bound handle. You bring it over to Alucard, the sound of thunder rumbling outside shakes the castle walls a bit. Alucard sits upright, his eyes on you as he eyes you carefully with each step you take. You hold the sword carefully in your hands as you approach. "Still liking that one?" Alucard's head tips to the side softly as he asks you this. "We can always change it for a different one if you'd feel more comfortable," Alucard reassures you. You shake your head.
"This one is perfect," you tell him, walking out of the room and waiting for him. He nods, stepping out and shutting the armory doors behind him. You notice he isn't carrying a sword, confused as to why he closed the door without grabbing one. "Where's yours?" Alucard gives you a soft smile, looking down the hall.
"It's in my bedroom. One second," Alucard tells you, silently instructing you to stay there. You nod, standing still as he walks off to his room. A few moments later, you see Alucard come back, a long silver blade in his dominant hand. He strides over, his steps long and graceful. Your eyes sparkle at the blade he brings out. You thought it was the coolest thing you had ever seen. Alucard sees your admiration as he approaches, unable to help giving you a toothy grin as he chuckles softly. He's pleased by your reaction, stopping a few steps away from you. "What do you think?" Alucard asks you softly, his expression gentle as he waits for your response silently.
"It's amazing!" You exclaim happily, leaning down to get a better look at it as he raises it up slightly so you can see. The steel of the sword has marks on it but is shiny, sparkling clean. It's a fitting sword for someone like him, you think. You st6and up straight again, looking up at Alucard with a warm smile. "I'm excited. I can't wait to see what the training room looks like," you tell Alucard, holding your sword carefully in your hands. Alucard chuckles, nodding.
"This way," Alucard says to you, walking past you and down the hall just a bit further. You nod, following behind him once more. He makes his way gracefully down the hall, you follow, looking out at the various decorations around. Your eyebrows furrow as you start to notice the hallway become less and less welcoming, the cold, stone walls stretching a great distance. You reach two large doors, and Alucard opens them with one hand, pushing them open easily. The large doors creak open, the hinges rusty. You gasp, seeing the large stone room before you.
There were no windows in this room, only stone. It was vast, much bigger than you expected it to be. The room is lit by torchlight, a warm yellow hue casted over grey stone. Large, stone pillars stretch from the floor to the ceiling, large gaps between each one. There are training dummies made of hay and leaves, scattered about the room. They appear to have been used, pieces of hay scattered on the ground and chunks missing out of some. Alucard steps aside and allows you in first. You step in, eyes adjusting to the scene around you. Alucard follows you, the large doors creaking shut. You watch as he walks past you, then stops a few feet away from you. He turns to face you, his sword lowering. He rolls his shoulders back slightly, fixing his posture so that he is standing up taller. His expression becomes less gentle, reminding you of how he looked when you saw him for the first time.
