Chapter 3: Separation

Waking up the next day I went to check on the others one of the twins (Trev and Trey but were talking about Trev here) was awake and was cooking breakfast, "What time did the electricity go back?", I asked, "Around 5am" he replied before focusing back to cooking, then I came to wake up the other two who were dead asleep telling them that breakfast is almost ready and we should plan our exploration on the city.

We finished breakfast and planned our exploration,

Everyone will scatter, the twins will be together and will explore one part of the city while Nathan will explore nearby, I will explore the other side everyone will be given 3 days, we needed to create a map and gather resources it is best if we can find other students and bring them to our hide out our meeting place in 3 days is here, 3rd floor of the hotel.

With that in mind we set out on our different paths, the twins already went out while me and Nathan was left behind since I'm still preparing my bag, we decided to give Nathan the sniper since he found it, I finalized the things inside my bag and went out with my bat.

[2:00 in the afternoon]

I was at least 20 kilometers away already from our meeting place, I saw some fast food chains, pharmacies and some local food stalls but not a single student, the weather was so hot so I decided to take a rest inside an appliance store, I saw lots of handy fans it will surely be useful when the electricity is gone at night I sat down and hydrated myself, then I remembered, I haven't had lunch! I opened up a energy bar and drank some energy drink.

As I was going to stand up I heard some noises, people! I looked outside with excitement and with slight anxiousness it was a group of 6, 3 male and 3 female students, but one of them was outstanding, he was tall maybe 6'4 and a bit bulky they all had the same starter bags, the big guy got a pistol in his waist and one of the girls got a bow.

I slowly went out showing myself, that seemed to startle them, the big guy pulled out his gun and pointed it at me I raised my hand and calmly introduced myself, it seemed to lower their guard making me able to come close.
