After stargazing
I felt a sense of penance wash over me.
The stars remained as beautiful as ever
Glowing brightly against the night sky.
Each twinkling light reminded me how my emotions are locked while it's losing it's grip
Evoking a sadness that lingered like an unshakable shadow.

I became exhausted
The weight of my feelings pressing down on me until it felt like my world was falling apart.
I was lost in a realm where my hopes and dreams seemed to vanish into thin air..
Like.. a bubble bursting without warning.
Just as a rose petal dries and withers
Losing its vibrant color to become a faded, blackened remnant

I felt pieces of myself slipping away.
No matter how hard I tried to hold on
I could sense the brokenness inside me.
That's why getting fresh air and stargazing was one of the few things that helped me stay in float to amid the sadness.

Each time I felt the darkness creeping in
The sadness creeps in
It's like a bug trying to bite me
It was a reminder of what I missed—Kaiba, The connection we shared, and so much more. Contemplating these feelings was a struggle
And it was pushing through was far from easy.

I grew bored
Too caught up in my emotions to find solace.
So, I returned to my room
Seeking rest and a reprieve from the turmoil within me.
That's when I noticed Mahad—
He saw me and now he's coming this way
The man who had defended me earlier from Priest Seto.

Without him
Priest Seto would have continued to bicker with me
But.. only for the sake of change.
I wondered what he was doing here
Seeing me like this...
After.. I had just gone from stargazing to sadgazing.

"Oh, Yuza. You are the one who intervened to save us earlier," Mahad

He said
His tone steady and reassuring.

"Yes, that's me. But it was for many reasons," Yuza

"I am grateful for your bravery. Your choice to assist us speaks volumes about your character," Mahad

He responded
A hint of warmth in his voice.

"I had no choice. I couldn't ignore" Yuza

"Your willingness to confront danger is commendable. I respect your resolve," Mahad

"Alright, but where are we going?" Yuza

He guides his hand

"Just follow me. I have something I wish to show you" Mahad

I replied.

"Okay, I'll follow," Yuza

As we walked in
It felt as if though..
We had quickly stepped into an ancient shrine
The air thick with history and reverence.
Filled with obscenities

"This..." Yuza

I began, glancing around in awe.

"This place... what is this?" Yuza

Mahad stepped forward
Gesturing to the intricately carved walls adorned with hieroglyphics.

"This is a sacred shrine, a place where we honor the spirits of our ancestors. Here, we seek guidance and strength from those who came before us." Mahad

"That's unique... like you're trying to cherish something to remember" Yuza

He moved to a central altar
Where offerings were laid out—
Flowers fruits, and candles flickering softly in the dim light.

"It is said that those who come here with a pure heart may find clarity and peace in their turmoil." Mahad

My eyes widened as...
It absorbed the beauty and the blessings of the shrine....
Observing it's beauty

"It's beautiful. I can sense it's presences in place." Yuza

"Indeed," Mahad

He replied, his voice steady and calm.

"Maybe perhaps.. this sanctuary will provide you with solace in this time of sorrow. It's nice to reflect.." Mahad

I closed my eyes

"It does... feels good, doesn't it?" Mahad

"It's great" Yuza

He said softly
His gaze focused on the flickering flames of the candles.

"The air here carries a sense of serenity, a reminder that even in the face of chaos, there is always a place where peace may be found." Mahad

I nodded, as my heart prevails feeling lighter As the weight of  my emotions slowly began to lift.

"Yeah... it feels like I can breathe again. Like for once, I'm not carrying everything on my own." Yuza

Mahad looked at me with a reassuring smile.

"You do not have to carry your burdens alone, Yuza. There are those who will stand by your side, myself included. This place... may help you realize that."Mahad

I glanced around once more
Taking in the sacred atmosphere.

"Thank you, Mahad. For bringing me here... and for everything." Yuza

Mahad gave a slight bow, his expression calm and kind.

"It is my duty and my honor. You have done much for us, Yuza. You deserve to find peace as well." Mahad

Feeling a sense of comfort wash over me
As I stepped further into the shrine
Ready to embrace whatever wisdom this sacred space might offer to wash over me

"There's a lot to think about..
I mean... yeah what to expect for what it brings out of you.." Yuza

"There's a lot to think about... I mean... yeah, what to expect for what it brings out of you," Yuza

I said,
My voice trailing off
As my eyes scanned the ancient shrine.

Mahad nodded thoughtfully,
His tone gentle but firm.

"Indeed. Every choice, every path, it shapes who we become. Sometimes, the weight of it all can cloud our vision. But it is in places like this... that clarity can be found." Mahad

My mind still swimming with thoughts of the past and the future.
Switching through emotions to paths where we could led on

"I just don't know how to sort it all out. Everything feels... heavy." Yuza

Mahad stepped closer
His gaze sincere.

"Do not rush yourself, Yuza. In time, all will be revealed. For now, trust in your strength and allow yourself moments of stillness. You will find your way." Mahad

I looked up at him
It was like feeling a glimmer of hope

"I guess... you're right.
Maybe this is what I needed—a moment to stop and breathe." Yuza

Mahad smiled softly.

"Sometimes, that is all it takes." Mahad

"Yeah.." Yuza

"You just need to take a deep look in your heart. Explore yourself. Capture the moments. You'll find it" Mahad

He places a hand on my shoulder

"You'll find it. Trust me" Mahad
