"You have to believe that you can make a difference; otherwise, what are you doing here?" - Suzy Wolff - one of the few women to compete in Formula 1.

Closing the door behind him, Phuwin took off his shoes, leaving them haphazardly near the entrance. He felt the warmth and humidity of the night coursing through his body, his mind still reeling from the intensity of his recent moments with Pond. Without turning on all the lights, he walked over to the table and grabbed his phone. He plugged it in, hearing the familiar sound of the battery connecting, but before calling Love, he needed something else: a cold shower.

After that, he walked to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and let the water run while he undressed slowly, as if each piece of clothing was a part of the weight he had been carrying.

When he stepped into the shower, the cold water hit him like an instant shock, sending chills across his skin but bringing much-needed relief.

Phuwin turned off the shower and wrapped himself in a towel. The cold water had done its job, calming his mind, body, and heart — at least for now.

Leaving the bathroom, he put on a loose t-shirt and comfortable shorts, heading towards the bed. His phone hadn't charged much, but he settled in anyway, put it on speaker, and waited as the call rang. On the other end of the line, Love's sleepy voice answered.

"Phuwin... do you know what time it is? You're interrupting my beauty sleep..." she grumbled, her voice thick with exhaustion.

Phuwin smiled, knowing that despite being grumpy when woken up in the middle of the night, Love was always ready to listen. "Sorry... I just really needed to talk to you."

She sighed, but her voice quickly turned concerned. "Wait, did something happen at the bar? Are you okay?"

"Yes, something did happen... but it was something good," he replied with a shy smile, though Love couldn't see it.

"Something good?" Love repeated, her voice rising an octave with curiosity. "Phuwin, spill it! You're killing me with suspense!"

Phuwin bit his lip, feeling his face heat up again as he recalled the night. "Pond showed up at the bar... and we ended up talking, you know?"

Immediately, Love's concern was replaced by pure excitement. "Ahhh, I knew it! I knew he'd find you." Now she was fully awake, her voice animated and full of anticipation. "Tell me everything, Phuwin!"

Phuwin laughed, knowing Love wouldn't rest until she heard every detail. "Okay, okay, I'll tell you," he began, his cheeks flushing as he replayed the night in his mind. "He just showed up at the bar, out of nowhere... and we ended up talking, having a few drinks. He was really attentive, and then he kind of... invited me to go with him to Krabi this weekend. For his birthday."

Love let out a muffled squeal of pure excitement. "Oh my God! An invite to Krabi, for his birthday? That's huge, Phuwin! So, what did you say? You're going, right? Tell me you're going!"

"I don't know what to do. It's a big step, right? Going to Krabi with him and... I don't know, it feels like things are moving fast, but at the same time, I don't want to push him away."

On the other end of the line, Love was silent for a moment before responding. "You're right, Phuwin. It does seem fast, but you deserve to experience these things too. He likes you, that much is clear. And if he wants you by his side for something as personal as his birthday, it's because he trusts you."

Phuwin sighed, feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty. "I don't know, Love... He even said I could bring you, but you've got that important work this weekend. I promised him I'd think about it... He was super understanding, said I just needed to text him by tomorrow morning and he'd pick me up."
