"You're going to Paris." Shoko had her arms across her chest and a stern look on her face, as if saying 'that is final, no arguing about this'.

"...What..?" Megumi was confused, why was he going to Paris? "For what...reason?" He asked.

"Well me and Tsumiki talked about it—" Shoko started explaining before she got cut off.

"Tsumiki agreed?!" His green eyes widened in disbelief. Are they separating or something? Is she staying in Japan and him in Paris? But he just got his sister back!

"Me, the rest of the sorcerers, and students agree that you should take a break from the Jujustu world, you know after the whole Sukuna thing, and because your technique basically reseted all your progress." Shoko put her arm around his shoulder and pulled him in a side hug.

"—and also because Satoru suggested this idea before...you know what I mean. I think you need this break from..well..everything!"

"...what about Yuuji..? Don't you think he deserves a break from the Jujustu world too? I mean— because of me he ended up thrusted into this world and being a vessel."

"I also talked about this with him...and his reaction wasn't the most positive one." That caught Megumi's attention. "What do you mean?"

"I knew that he worked really hard to bring you back and then three weeks later, here I come with this idea to send you somewhere far away to have a break. So he rightfully started flipping out.."

she looked at the pack of cigarettes on her table before deciding to throw it in the trash.

"Obviously he wouldn't want to let you go that easily." She let out a few chuckles watching Satoru's most precious student— his most precious kid, get flustered.

"I think he may have attachment issues now, but that's not the point! I asked if he would like to go with you to Paris, but he said that he still wants to exorcise curses, specifically he said that you gave his life more meaning."

Megumi was stunned. Oh...Yuuji really knew how to pull at his heartstrings. "Overall it took a few days convincing him to let you go to Paris."

"What about—"

"Don't worry about Tsumiki, she's going with you, and you have a house—" Megumi let out a sound of shock. "YOU ALREADY BOUGHT ME A—?!" Shoko put her hand over his mouth.

"Shh-!! Yes I did. With Gojo's money it wasn't that expensive, trust me! I'll even give you money to decorate your house. Don't worry too much about getting a job by the way..we have enough money to support us. You're both assigned in a school— Tsumiki's idea by the way."

"Alright, Gumi. Your plane is going to take off tomorrow morning! So better get ready and you better say your goodbyes." He nodded his head.

Megumi hesitated for a split second before he decided to give her a hug. "Thank you for everything you've done for me and Tsumiki.... I feel like I don't really show my appreciation for you that well. I wish I showed Gojo how grateful I was for him... I hoped he knew that."

"Trust me, he knows."

Shoko felt like tearing up at the mention of Satoru. The boy he picked up from his enemy grew so much. She put her arms around him, squeezed him closer, and started swaying with Megumi in her arms.
