Chapter 17

Taehyung closed his laptop and the file. He checked the time. It was going to be 12 AM. He was a little sleepy now. He came out of his office room and walked towards his bedroom.

When he passed Jungkook's room, a little curiosity took over him. He wanted to see what the boy looked like when he slept. Just a moment before, he had checked on him while he was sleeping, he thought. Even though he wanted to see his bunny, he was just making excuses to himself to meet his human-sized bunny baby.

Taehyung slowly opened the door and peeked inside. He saw Jungkook lying on the bed, now facing the wall. Taehyung smiled and turned off the lights. Suddenly, Jungkook got up and shouted at Taehyung.

"Who told you to turn off the lights?" Taehyung suddenly turned on the lights and looked at Jungkook. The poor man was a little startled by his sudden shouting. Jungkook was looking at him with an angry face, but somehow Taehyung found it cute. He wanted to tease him more.But he knows that it's not the right time to do that.

"Get out," Jungkook shouted again. Taehyung rubbed his ears. Jungkook's high-pitched voice was penetrating his ears like a cricket's sound.

"Okay, okay." Taehyung surrendered, closed the door immediately, and moved back to his room.

Taehyung sat down on his bed and lay down. He smiled, thinking about his bunny. It will be fun and lovely with him and their baby, right? he thought to himself as he closed his eyes.

Jungkook was getting ready to go to the hospital. He was a little afraid. He stood in front of the mirror, looking at himself. He was shivering a little. An unknown fear rose inside his heart. He didn't know how to ease it or why he was feeling that way. It felt like something heavy on his heart, and he couldn’t pinpoint what it was about.

"Jungkook, are you ready? You are taking too much time to get ready for a hospital appointment."

Taehyung said and entered his room. He saw the shivering figure standing in front of the mirror. He furrowed his eyebrows. He realized that the latter was scared. Taehyung slowly walked towards him and stood beside him. He stood closer to him and circled his hands around the younger’s tiny waist. Taehyung could feel that the younger one was relaxing inside his embrace.

"Shhh, everything is alright. Take a deep breath," Taehyung said and held him closer to his chest. Jungkook followed his words and took a deep breath. Now he was relaxed. He slowly looked down and frowned. He slapped Taehyung's hands that were holding his waist. Taehyung suddenly removed his hands and moved back. Jungkook was very angry for two reasons. The first was that he allowed Taehyung to touch him and showed his weak side to him.

The second reason was that he lost that warmest hug suddenly. He stomped his foot and marched out of the room.

"What was that?" Taehyung thought and followed Jungkook downstairs.

When he came down, he saw Jungkook standing in front of his car porch with a confused expression, looking at the cars that were parked inside the gates. Taehyung chuckled and led him towards his new Lamborghini Gallardo. Jungkook sat in the back seat and settled down comfortably. Taehyung knitted his eyebrows together and looked at him.

"Why are you sitting there? Sit here. Come." He pointed towards the passenger seat. But Jungkook just ignored Taehyung and looked outside.

"I said sit here." This time, Taehyung raised his voice a little. Jungkook pouted, got down from the back seat, and sat in the passenger seat, closing the door a little too harshly. Taehyung just clicked his tongue and gripped the steering wheel tightly to control himself from lashing out at the other.
