The Young Exorcist

Hanako gasps slightly. "Do you know this guy hanako???" You and Nene ask frantically.  "We've never actually met.. well in person.." Hanako Confirms. " but I know who he is.." Hanako continues "How so.." You ask softly, your tears drying slowly.. some still rolling down your cheek.

"He's from the minamoto clan" hanako begins to explain. "What does that mean?" Nene asks, still as  confused as you are. Hanako noticing this goes into greater detail.

"Back when the night skies were deeper, and darker than they are now, apperitons were called "Youlai". And we were much more powerful than we are today." Hanakp explained to you and Nene. You just simply noded as hanako continued.

"That was until those youki were dispelled  by a brilliant Exorcist called minamoto no Yorimitsu. He was an ancestor of this kid." And with that hanako was done with his speech.

"Ohhhh that makes sense." Before you could say anything else you were interrupted by the red head which.. annoyed you to great lengths-

"So you know your stuff huh?" The red head was almost teasing at this point, maybe he was being condescending.  No one really knows for sure.

"You should be trembling at the very mention of my name! And now-" you do him like he did you and cut him off. "You sound kinda cocky if you ask me-" hanako laughed slightly and so did Nene. "Yeah you're kinda right Y/n-kun" Nene said as she continued to giggle.

"I- i-i do not! Either way. It's time to do my duty as a member of the minamoto clan! Hope you're ready!" Suddenly the red head jumped up trying to attack hanako. "Hey! Let's take this outside dumbass." You snapped at him with almost zero hesitation.. he blushed slightly in embarrassment. "Y-yeah. Sure whatever."

Time skip you all walk to the roof of the  school. And he resumed the attack, stricking hanako in the shoulder but he didn't react. As you and Nene could only watch. As hanako grabbed what looked like an umbrella. "Exorcise me? And do you honestly expect to pull that off?" Hanako asks, challenging the boy.

The boy seems to he stunned by hanakos bluntness for half a second at least- until he responds with "uh yeah?" Almost sounding to Confident. Suddenly electricity was shot out of the umbrella where hanako was holding it. He gasps in surprise not expecting it. 

You and Nene were shocked too.. but you were more worried than anything. The red head only smirked at your reactions and said. "How embarrassing for you, oh well." Hanako falls to the ground in pain, you and Nenes worries  heightened. "Hanako!" Nene shouted rushing towards him, you just stood there frozen.

Then you saw the boy taking a staff out of the umbrella and shout "WATCH OUT!" In that very moment you're able to move again and you run to your two friends.

"This is "Raiteijou" an exorcism tool, passed down in our family for generations!" The boy seemed proud so he continued explaining. "It's a sacred staff through transforms the wielder's spiritual power unto demon slaying lighting!".

The boy began to smirk again as hanako wines in pain.

"Don't even think about touching it directly unless you're a moron." And suddenly he raises his staff to hit hanako again "this is the end for you!" The boy shouts but then you and Nene get infront of the boy before he could attack, you were both protecting hanako both shouting in unison " leave him alone!" The boy snaps back "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" Then he got Into both of your faces pointing a finger at you. "You idiots! You're supposed to warn someone before you butt in!" The boy was out ragged glaring at you both.

But he stops as soon as he sees the scowl on both your faces. "Oh well.. it's fine.." the boy blushes. You both still stand in front of hanako trying to protect him.

"So... who are you guys?" The boy ask with more light hearted tone. Nene bothers to introduce herself, you don't you just consider to glare at him crossing your arms.   "And you are?" He ask with a very small smile "Y/n. Dick." And that's all you say to him so he brushes you off.
