"तो आप हैं मृदांगी दीवान।" Suhasini malhotra said with a disdain tone while eying mridaangi who was settling on the sofa in the centre of the living room where the singhaniya's, the deewan's, the bansal's, the malhotra and the Shukla's were present also Kabir was there but from mridaangi's side.
(So you are mridaangi deewan)
"जी" mridaangi said and went ahead to touch her feet to take blessings.
((( Before anyone gives me BS about how she shouldn't touch feet or how she shouldn't touch feet of such rude ladies then let me INFORM YOU beforehand.... In my Dharm it's not about the other person or me but about the pure form of showing respect and giving blessings of prosperity and happiness. Simple. So here mridaangi is showing respect to the culture not to people who only knows being negative BUT BUT BUT!! as you know in my religion we have कर्म so.... Everyone who does bad will be getting their karma back. So be happy 😄)))
"खुश रहो। खूब आगे बढ़ो।" Said suhashini.
After her mridaangi glared at devansh and signalled him to follow her to which devansh rolled his eyes and stood up to mirror mridaangi's action.
They went towards Abhiraj and suhani and took there blessings.
When mridaangi was about to touch suhani's feet she was stopped by suhani itself.
"No... I mean I don't deserve this right now mridaangi" said Suhani.
Mridaangi looked at devansh and then at suhani while suhani hurriedly added "do this when you really feel that I deserve your respect ok, for now I'll do my share of work" with this she touched mridaangi's head softly and said "भगवान जी तुम्हे और तुम्हारे सुहाग को खूब लम्बी और स्वस्थ जीवन प्रदान करें। हमेशा खुश रहो, सफलता पाओ और ऐसे ही एक दूजे का साथ निभाते रहो"
Devansh who was unhinged till now looked at his mother and bend down to touch her feet while suhani happily stopped him and hugged him briefly.
Mridaangi smiled slightly at the interaction but that didn't meant that she would let go of the past.
She won't.
"Come sit both of you" said Vikram while taking his own seat.
"Devansh beta mihir is not picking up anyone's phone. Do you have any idea where he is" Veena aunty asked while mihir's father dharmendra sit there shooking his head at his naive wife.
Obviously dharmendra knows where his son is and with whom his son is with and how unbelievable his own son can be sometimes.
"He'll be coming in half an hour aunty. He is all fine" said devansh respectfully while dharmendra took his wife back Veena in his arms whispering things in her ear subtly that calms her racing her heart a bit.
Mridaangi and devansh took there respective seat in the left side of Abhiraj.
"Let us first look for the auspicious date" said mridaangi's father with a genuine smile on his face looking at her.
Mridaangi couldn't help but smile sadly for being able to see glimpse of her Superman.... Her father once again after so long.
"Sure" devansh said sensing mridaangi's emotions and swiftly took her small cold hands in his big warm hands while settling their hands on his lap.
"Hridhaan beta where is pandit ji.... Call him" devansh's chacha jii said while smiling softly.
"Jii papa" Hridhaan said while excusing himself to call pandit ji.
