10. Vegetable Market

Amelia POV

I entered inside my room and brokenly smiled while looking towards my Aunty photo. Aunty told me story of Cinderella but the reality is totally different. This ugly cindrella is being sold to a Devil Prince!

I have only one month... What will happen after that?

(At night)
After washing dishes I went back to the store room but Nick was standing on the stairs. Perhaps waiting for me to come, I ran when I saw him, he was following me too.
Before he could catch me, i closed the door against him, he even tried to push the door but I locked the door and stand against the door by my back so that it doesn't break.

"What? Just because you will belong to someone else doesn't means i will leave you... Not until I RUIN YOU bitch!" He said this from the door

Suddenly i heard him laughing
"I am wondering, will you also run away from him like this?" He asked me

"But where will you run away? Who will save you from that hungry devil?"
He began to say things which was scaring me more.

"A person like him will never spare you no matter how much you beg!! You will be just his toy! And you can't deny him, Devil like them doesn't like to hear no! You will be his submissive!
You will be his fucking bed warmer! Just like those girls in the night bar selling their body, you will be that!!

I sat on my knees trying to cover my ears but i still could hear his voice

Nick left on the other side of door
I heard it all and was sobbing unstoppable while holding my stomach as I felt my cramps worsening at the same time
no... don't...no ..no.. (crying hard but trying not to make noise)

I didn't even realise when I slept there against the door.
I opened my eyes, it was dark but I was not feeling sleepy anymore.
After coming out of the room, I did my usual routine and went to the college by bus.
Today I couldn't focus on the class too.

Kelly and I went to the Library.
"What happened Ami?" She asked with concern

I was thinking whether i should tell her or not... How would she react to it then?... I don't even properly know who that person is, to whom I am sold. What should I even say to her?

"Ami?" She called my name

I snap out my thoughts
"Nothing! It's just that today weather is really cold" I said this with a smile while rubbing my hands with each other to give it a friction

"Yeah" she agreed

I can't say about this to anyone since it is connected to Uncle business matter and if he founds out i gossip about this then he will not spare me.

After our classes, Kelly went to her club while I was leaving for my work.
As I was coming out of the gate of our university. I noticed students attention was at someone, there was a crowd too.... I had a glance of whom they were talking about.. it was him, That old man wearing black eyewear 🕶️ and his usual black suit with white t-shirt, black pant, tie...

I turned around the moment I saw him and run away. He deliberately was standing there in front of the bus stand. I didn't want to see him so i took a cab and went to the market first to get my phone back.
My phone was repaired, i took it and left for Metzger Delicacy in the same cab.
