AT THE PEAK OF HIS POPULARITY, KENSAKUHAYASAKA was brutally murdered in his hotel room after the very last performance of his very first world tour. The pungent, metallic smell, the thick and dark liquid now staining the light wooden floor, the disfigured face of the man who was once adored for his outstanding features: everything looked out of place in that cursed hotel room.
And it reeked.
Oh, it reeked.
It reeked of blood, and sweat, and unfulfilled dreams, and censorship; with Kensaku Hayasaka, not only a human life, but the future of the "civilized world" also died that same day, for the spokesperson for freedom had been eliminated to preserve the privileges of the people in power.
To reach this level, however, a man like Kensaku Hayasaka needed to be cunning; having predicted the day of his downfall, he had prepared a surprise for his murderer.
"Just so you wait," under his breath, whispering his final words, the charming young man kissed his murderer's bloody hand ━ the same that had hit him oh so many times now ━ and gave him the sweetest smile. "One day you will regret this and someone else will laugh at your demise in my stead. May you keep me in your memories."
And as he cried, the other man took two lives in one shot.
