The next day, when the little girl woke up from her sleep, she was confused. Confused, when she saw white fur in her sight of vision until the memories from yesterday came back to her. Blinking her eyes for a moment before she slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes and stretching her body before looking over to the canine beside her that was sleeping.
She gazed at the white fur that smelled and stained by blood before looking back to its resting face. Reaching out a hand, she scratched behind the ear of the canine before putting her other hand to its snout, gliding her hand on its nose. She grew fond of petting canine barely noticing the corner of her lips twitching.
Feeling someone was petting her, the canine opened her eyes and stared at the little girl who was petting her fur. Not wanting to scare her, she lay still, letting the girl pet her while not noticing her tail moving a bit.
Not long after, when the canine decided it's time to get up which made the girl retract her hands from the canine as it slowly gets up to stand on its four paws. Compared to the little girl's small figure, the canine was fairly quite big. The canine stared down at the little girl who began to stand up herself with her pouch in her hand before staring back at the canine.
The two held their gaze for a while until the girl was the first to break eye contact as she turned around beginning to leave to continue her journey to find somewhere to stay. The canine stared at the retreating back of the girl before slowly following behind her.
The girl knew the canine was following behind her by feeling the aura of the canine but she let her be and continued walking, following along the river. Both stayed silent as they walked, only the sound of water from the river filled the silence in the air as the canine stayed silent and followed her. While they walked, the girl decided to be in her thoughts.
I've been following the river now... Maybe i should find some sort of path that maybe can lead me somewhere? But where is it somewhere? With this animal following me, I should find some food for her since it might need food like meat... Though, what kind of canine is she? I do know dogs but she's not a dog... Dogs are smaller but she's bigger... I'll think of it later and maybe go find a path somewhere...
The girl hummed to herself, catching the canine's attention who was drinking water from the river. The girl decided to head to the forest in order to find a path that could lead her as she turned her direction to the forest with the canine following behind her like a lost puppy which she let the canine follow.

She soon did find a dirt path. The canine that was following her was now beside her since she decided to let her follow her wherever she goes since it seems it doesn't take any attention of leaving her alone soon and now they speak through thought communication.
The girl soon named her yukisa which she finds perfect in the canine which now she learned is a dire wolf. What she found confusing is when she named her through thought communication, of course, was that she glowed and grew a pair of wings after naming her which confused her but yukisa soon explained why and how, which she understands.
And now, the two are now traveling through the forest with the girl on yukisa's back trying to find a place where she can stay with her new companion, yukisa. The girl was still nameless but yukisa calls her 'my lady' since the girl is now her master. Serving the girl and also protects her from harm. Not realising how powerful the girl is in truth.
The girl sat on yukisa, looking forward to their direction before she decided to ask yukisa some questions.
