Context: Shubman hangs mistletoe and stands under it. Ishan doesn't know what mistletoe is and doesn't understand why Shubman has been standing under the weird ceiling booger for ten minutes.

(Also I'm including a little of Baby words 🥲 don't hate me)

"MaaAaaA! No wanna go!"
"Shubman... You need to go, Hon... Look, school is important. And it'll teach you a lot of things... And you know a secret?"

Shubman sniffled and wiped his messy nose, sticking the fluid to his hand too. His mother took out a wipe and gently cleaned both the places.

"You get to make new friends!"
"Fwiends?"
"Yes, Baby, so many! Mumma will get you back after some time, okay?"
"Pwomise? You won't leawe me?"
"No, Baby, not at all... Go now! Bye bye!"
"Bye bye Ma"

"Ishu, Baby, look it's your first day of school!"
"Schoooooool!"

His mother gave a small chuckle and kissed his forehead, picking him up and gave him a bath. Then she made him wear the uniform and took him to school.

"Promise Ma you'll be fine?"
"Yes Ma!"
"And you'll make new friends?"
"Fwiends!"
She kissed her forehead before letting him go.

"I love you, Baby. All the best"
"Bye bye Ma! I wove (love) you"

Ishan hopped inside with his small, pink bag, and little shoes that made squeak sounds when he walked.
He saw another boy waving to his mother and he decided to wait for him, because he couldn't exactly see anyone else around right now.

The boy did come to him, but Ishan noticed he was crying. Ishan went to him and poked his shoulder.
"Hewo! (Hello)"

The boy didn't reply, sniffling still.
"I'm Ishu... Why you cwy?"
"M-ma.."
"Ma say she'll come back! We can be fwiends!"
"...Fwiends?"
"Yesh!"
"..okay... I'm Shubi"

Ishan gladly shook his hand and hung his arm around Shubman's shoulder.
"Don't cwy... We will hawe fun!"
Ishan smiled at him and Shubman couldn't stop his own smile. He felt better with Ishan already.

"Ishu.. You want choc'ate?"
"*Gasps* YESSS!"
"Wook (look)... I hawe one"

Shubman took out a small chocolate from his pocket. It was a bar of 8 pieces.
"We can shawe (share)" Ishan suggested.
"Yes!"

"One... Two... Thwee.. fou! Shubi you can take fou (4) I can take fou too!"
"Okay!"

They both shared it and Shubman smiled widely after eating the chocolate. His teeth were slightly covered in it.
"*Giggles* You have choc'ate on your teewh (teeth)"

Shubman giggled too and they walked into the class hand in hand.

"Ishu! Wook! (Look!) Ma giwe me 5 pwenci (Pencil)"
"Ma give me sewen"
"You hawe mowe (more)"
"You can take one!"
"T'ank you!"

After the bell rang, everyone ran to their mothers and Ishan and Shubman did too.
"Ma! I make new fwiend!"
"New friend? Congratulations, Baby, who's it?"
"Shubi!"
"Aw, can I meet him too?"
"Yesh! He giwe me choc'ate!"
"Aw, Baby..."
"SHUBI! SHUBI MY MA WANTS TO SAY HEWO!"

"C'mon, Baby, let's meet your new friend?"
"Yes Ma! He's Ishu! He giwe me new pwenci"
"Aw, you have more pencils now?"

Shubman jumped in excitement and went to hug Ishan.

"Will you come tomowo (tomorrow)?"
"Yesh! I will bwing choc'ate!"
