Starlight noticed the change right away. Luna had grown distant, her affection toward Starlight replaced by an unnatural obsession with Applebloom. It broke Starlight's heart to see the love they had built being torn apart by something she couldn't understand. She tried to talk to Luna, to reach her, but Luna's eyes no longer held the warmth they once did for her. Instead, they were filled with a hollow adoration for Applebloom.

Days passed, and Starlight found herself feeling more and more alone. She couldn't understand why Luna had changed so suddenly, why the love they shared had vanished without a trace. It felt as if her entire world was crumbling around her. The nights that had once been filled with warmth and love were now empty and cold. Starlight could hardly bear it.

One evening, unable to take the pain any longer, Starlight made her way to the edge of a cliff overlooking the Everfree Forest. The wind howled around her, the night sky above offering no comfort. Tears streamed down her face as she looked out at the dark expanse before her. She felt as though she had lost everything—the love of her life, the future she had dreamed of. The thought of continuing without Luna was too much to bear.

"Maybe it's better this way," Starlight whispered to herself, her voice breaking. She took a step closer to the edge, her heart heavy with despair.
