It's a sunny day at Court of Fontaine, and the Traveler has just finished clearing his commissions. With nothing to do now, he decided to go back to the hotel for some relaxation. On his way however, he noticed a hooded figure looking through a pile of books on a bazaar nearby. At first, he just let them be, until he noticed a familiar white and cyan hair color...
"Furina?" He called them out, which the hooded person flinched. They then turn to him, only to confirm his suspicion.
"T-traveler?!" She called back, clearly astounded by his appearance. "W-what're you doing here?!"
"I was just heading back to the hotel until I saw you." Traveler replied. "How about you? You look like you're looking for something."
"I uhh... I was just looking for a new novel to read, that's right!" Furina replied.
"Is that so... I guess I learn something new everyday." Traveler chuckled, as Furina blushes.
"A-anyway, what're you going to do now?" She then asked. Seeing Furina alone and his current circumstances then gives Traveler an idea.
"Well... I'm thinking of us having a stroll around the Court of Fontaine together. It's not much, but I just think that it'll be a neat idea for both of us." Traveler's idea perplexed Furina, considering that she already know all of the Court of Fontaine by now. But, to think that the Traveler invited her to walk around together made the former Archon fluster over the idea.
Regardless, it would be rude to turn down his invite, especially if it's from someone as impactful as the Traveler.
"Alright, I'll go with you." Furina said as she removes the hood. "But not until I've picked my novel. I still don't know which one's more interesting to read..."
With the help of the Traveler, Furina got her novel and puts it into her purse, and the two then went on to walk around the Court of Fontaine together.
On the way, the Traveler looked around his surrounding, while Furina occasionally dart some glances over the Traveler. It should be a normal stroll together, but something within Furina couldn't help but to wonder about the Traveler. Sure that he has been a great help during the entire ordeal (read: Archon Quest) beforehand, but there's something within her that makes her want to learn more about the Traveler.
"So... how were you during the past few days?" Furina asked.
"Well, aside from doing commissions, me and Paimon were just hanging out with our friends in Fontaine." The Traveler replied.
"I see..." Furina said. "It must be nice of having so many friends." She then said, dripping with jealousy within her tone.
"But we're friends too, right?" Traveler reminded her, which she turns away to hide her faint blush.
"Y-yeah..." She mumbled. Even so, Furina doesn't have many friends, except for Neuvillette, which is why she's somewhat jealous of Traveler easily having more friends than her. Regardless, she keep it to herself as to not ruin the stroll. The two continue their way until they passed the nearby Café Lutece, where the Traveler has an idea.
"How about we grab a snack for a bit?" He said, which Furina nods.
"Sounds good, if you're willing to pay for me." She said albeit with a bit of shyness at the end.
"Don't worry. I basically have infinite Mora." He then joked, although it's actually true for the Traveler. The two then went on ordering some macarons and coffee for themselves, in which the Traveler paid for all of them.
