Yunjin sighs softly, shutting her eyes for a moment—very irritated by the fluorescent lines, the scent of the hospital, the chatter and the beeping and the itchy cast they put her right arm in.

"Yunjin?"

Yunjin opens her eyes suddenly, hearing a voice of her past.

"Uh, what are you doing here?" Yunjin shoots up, white as a sheet.

"Don't you miss me?" Chaewon snorted, rolling her eyes.

"Sure, I definitely miss my ex." Yunjin answers sarcastically.

"Missed you too." Chaewon grins wryly.

The shorter steps closer to the hospital bed and brings a finger up before flicking her nail against Yunjin's cast.

"Ow!" Yunjin cries out, cradling her arm.

"Sorry, I thought you were pretending and this was some elaborate plan to get me back." Chaewon shrugs happily.

"Yeah, I did not miss you at all." Yunjin groans, laying back down.

"Ouch." Chaewon chuckles.

There's a lesson or actually a storyline that we're all missing here, and though Yunjin likes to think Chaewon is the biggest thorn in her life, she was at some point the love of her life. And before this, nothing could tear them apart, but it's been too many years, and they're not kids anymore. But some things stay the same, like Yunjin's innate ability to injure herself clumsily.

If only she didn't decide to take one too many shots at Kazuha and Sakura's bachelorette party.

So how did Yunjin end up in the hospital on this fine night with no one but her ex to come rescue her? Well, here goes nothing.

"I don't want tequila!" Yunjin cries.

"Take the fucking shot!" Kazuha growls. "It's my bachelorette party, bitch!"

Yunjin sobs as she chugs down the burning liquid for the sake of her best friend.

"Are you sure they love each other?" Yeji asks Sakura, who is also Kazuha's fiancée.

"They've been like that since they were kids; don't worry about it." Sakura chuckles lightheartedly, and Yeji eyes them with a confused look on her face.

Yunjin was actually functioning for the rest of the night up until Sakura was multitasking, driving Yunjin home, and trying to keep Kazuha strapped to the passenger seat. Yunjin really applauds Sakura for that.

She had dragged herself up the stairs of her apartment, swung the door open and she's sure she left it open. But then she tried kicking off her shoes and turning on the light at the same time, which wasn't a good idea because her hand never made it to the light, and she crashed into her kitchen stool and rolled onto the floor like a sack of flour.

That definitely woke her lovely old neighbour up. The auntie then called her an ambulance, and that's how Yunjin ended up in the hospital.

"You're a disaster." Chaewon snorts.

"It's good to see you." Yunjin says drowsily.

"Ditto." Chaewon smiles.

Now the night keeps getting worse for Yunjin. If you think you're having a bad day, Yunjin is having a worse one—well, night.

"No, seriously, it's fine—I can get home on my own!" Yunjin tries to decline Chaewon.
