Mille tucked her body into the smallest position she could manage, curling up tightly and squeezing her eyes shut. Every muscle in her body tensed as she braced herself for what was to come.
Suddenly, pain erupted in her leg. A sharp, searing pain. Mille gasped, her eyes flying open as she realized the metal bar had pierced her leg instead of her heart or throat. The agony was overwhelming, but at the same time, a strange sense of relief washed over her—it hadn't hit any vital organs.
Biting back a scream, Mille's hands shook as she reached down, wrapping her trembling fingers around the cold, jagged metal protruding from her ankle. Tears stung her eyes as she gritted her teeth and yanked the bar out. Blood oozed from the wound, soaking her leg, but she didn't have time to dwell on the pain.
With all the strength she could muster, Mille shoved the metal bar into the small crack in the hatch. She pushed, her arms shaking from the effort, until the hatch finally began to give. Inch by inch, it opened, and Mille pulled herself through the gap. Her body tumbled out, face-first, hitting the cold concrete floor of the garage with a hard thud. Warm blood trickled from her nose, and her leg throbbed in agony, but she was free.
Dazed, Mille looked up, her vision blurry from the pain. The bear—Freddy—stood above her, towering and enormous. His metal frame cast a long, ominous shadow over her, and for a moment, his expression faltered. His glowing eyes flickered, almost as if he was surprised.
"Very clever, Mille dear," Freddy said, his voice losing some of its previous cheerfulness. "But I thought we had already made this arrangement?"
Mille's heart pounded as she stared up at the towering animatronic, his hulking form looming over her like a nightmare come to life. Blood still seeped from her leg, and her head spun from the impact of her fall, but she couldn't stop now. She had to escape. Freddy's playful, sinister voice rang in her ears as he stepped closer.
Mille ran faster than she ever thought possible, her injured leg screaming with pain, but she forced herself to ignore it. Blood dripped from her wound, leaving a faint trail behind her as she sprinted through the dark, cluttered garage. Behind her, she could hear the heavy thudding of footsteps closing in. For something as big as that bear, it was disturbingly fast.
Her heart pounded wildly in her chest as she spotted a pile of debris up ahead. Without thinking, she dove under it, pressing herself into the smallest space she could find, her whole body shaking with terror. She could still hear the bear's footsteps, a steady rhythm of doom that made the ground tremble.
"Mille dearr," Freddy's voice sang out, eerily cheerful. "Come on now, you're not making this fun anymore!"
Mille pressed her hand over her mouth, trying to quiet her ragged breathing, her heart slamming painfully in her chest. Don't make a sound, don't make a sound, she repeated over and over in her mind. She could hear the bear speaking again, its voice growing darker.
"Well, if you're going to be stubborn," Freddy growled, his tone losing its playful edge, "I'll just have to kill you my way."
Mille's heart stopped for a moment as she heard the footsteps grow louder, closer. She glanced around the pile of rubble she had thrown herself into and flinched. Lying nearby, half-buried in the debris, was a small, blue animatronic bunny. Its metal body was worn, its blank, lifeless eyes staring at her, its long ears drooping. Another broken relic from Freddy Fazbear's. Mille's stomach churned with a mix of fear and exhaustion. She was so tired—tired of Fazbear's, tired of running, tired of everything.
But her thoughts snapped back to the present as she heard Freddy's massive footsteps stop, just feet from where she was hiding. She froze, every muscle in her body tensing, trying to stifle the sound of her own shaky breathing. Tears welled up in her eyes, falling silently down her cheeks. Despite all her effort to stay calm, the terror was overwhelming.
