twenty nine.

taehyung tossed around on the bed, squirming a little and letting out the quietest pained noises. jeongguk was beside him fast asleep, wearing nothing but his boxers while taehyung wore his t-shirt and trousers as he said he was too lazy to get his own clothes.

the strong grip around his waist made it harder for taehyung to break free, and that only made his nightmare worse.

dream.

taehyung uncomfortably held his stomach and he stared at the figure sleeping beside him, most likely is ex.

"junie," taehyung whispered, poking the broad back, "hyungjun, my stomach hurts," he poked again and sighed in relief when the male woke up.

however, it was hyungjun but jeongguk instead. the situation was exactly like what it was with his ex but it was the wrong man.

"god, shut up!" jeongguk yelled, grabbing taehyung by his neck and immediately pinning the boy down.

a scream left taehyung and all of a sudden he shot his eyes open.

it was just a dream. i'm awake. he breathed heavily and sat up, looking down at jeongguk who was fast asleep next to him. but something wasn't right, he was laying in the exact same position as his dream and he couldn't make out his surroundings.

"gguk," he whispered, poking the boy, "jeongguk, i had bad dream."

the latter stirred awake with a soft hum, sitting up slowly to face the terrified boy. this wasn't jeongguk, his face had contorted with anger so heavily taehyung couldn't even recognise him.

"god, shut up!" again, jeongguk's hand was around his throat stopping any air from coming out.

reality.

jeongguk flinched out of his sleep due to the sound of choking and someone gasping for air. immediately he removed his arm from taehyung's waist and lifted his head to see what was going on.

taehyung was silently choking, grabbing at his own throat to try and break free from an invisible hand.

"tae," the brunette carefully shook him, "tae wake up, hey come on," he shook a little harder which seemed to work when the boy managed to shoot his eyes open and inhale as much air as possible.

"gguk," sobs began to pour out of the boys plump lips and it didn't take him long to climb onto jeongguk who hushed him quietly and caressed his hair.

"it's okay, it was a dream, you're awake now," jeongguk pecked his ear, frowning as the younger began to shake in his embrace and cry even harder, "what happened?"

"i-i don't wanna say." taehyung hiccuped and just continued to cry into the boys chest until he grew tired.

unfortunately, the blond didn't fall asleep but instead rolled off to go on his phone for the rest of the night. jeongguk did try to stay up with him but he was exhausted from their many rounds of sex, and taehyung refused to go back to sleep.
