Chapter one

"baby, wake up, its time to go work."
I spoke, as I lifted up the covers off my legs. I sat on the edge of the bed, and reached out for my glasses.
As I was reaching out, I heard a ding on my husband's phone. I overlooked and saw a message from a girl named Cassandra? I didn't know anybody named Cassandra.

Cassandra

"Hey, Jaden! excited to see you later tonight and the work party, bring some wine if you have some! The girls will love it!! We are all waiting for you to come, excited, looking forward to seeing you. Make sure your wife doesn't come! Its just you, Jason and the girls. We'll bring some things.. you know what things babes."

Ofcourse Cassandra, I'll bring a bottle of wine from the liquor store down the street across from my apartment complex. Tell the girls to wear some fancy clothes, its gonna definently be a good night. I'll tell Jason to bring some shot and wine glasses. Oh! definently bring Maya, she's so damn fucking attractive. I loveeeeeeee thattt. Take care, excited to taste your amazing food, absolutely phenomenal!!"

back with the wife

"This isn't okay, what the.. you know what ill play it off. I cant belive hes sneaking something like this."

Husband: "Good morning sweetheart, how was your sl-ee-pp.."

Wife: "How much did you take last night..??"

Husband: *hiccups* "I didnt take anything last night. I was just working late yesterday, I was with a work partner.

I decided just to shut my mouth up, I didn't wanna say anything more. I decided to just take a breather, I put on some music from my phone and when to go do my makeup in the bathroom while my husband gets ready for work.
As I was doing my makeup I still couldn't shake off that text from the so called work partner named "Cassandra" I just knew something was up, but I just didn't know what was. I was so confused because we don't know a girl called "Cassandra", well at least I dont..

I was confused. I zoned out and I didn't realize my husband was trying to talk to me, I was just a little zoned out..

Husband: "Natalie..?? Natalie?? Earth to you?? Babyyy?? Natalie???? are youu thereeee???"

Wife: "Oh uh, sorry, just zoned out you know. I'm just a little bit lost you know.. just thinking.. hehe.. you know??..."

Husband: "Yeah I'm leaving for work now okay? Take care..  I have to work late shift tonight okay?? I won't be home till the morning I have a long long shift to cover. Sorry sweetheart, we can eat the chocolate covered strawberries and drink coffee while watching a movie tomorrow okay??..

Wife: "Oh.. Okay.."

As he gave me a kiss on the cheek goodbye, and hugged me tightly. I was still zoned out about the text, I was so confused. I was really lost, I questioned myself. What if he is seeing another girl, what if hed cheating on me. What the heck do I do??.. My mind is just so fixated on this situation.

I decided to go cancel my work plans for the day, I called up my employer and asked if I could take the day off just for that particular day, I decided that I am going to going to go to my husband's work to removing my overthinking and so I don't think he cheating on me.

I tried to plan out a plan, to get a wig and do my makeup differently and to by hip and different pads to change my body shape so I could go undercover and spy on my boyfriend if he isn't lying to me.
