Chapter 4

"Yeah So how do I get there?" You asked expecting a short half day at most trip yet were met with a 2 day at most trip '2 DAYS WHERE DOES THIS MAN EVEN LIVE FOR IT TO BE A 2 DAY TRIP' is what you wanted to say or even better yell but instead settled for a simple ok. You were surprised when he offered if you wanted him to be with you for half the trip but then he would need to leave to fulfill his duties but you quickly agreed beginning to enjoy the sapphire eyed mans presence. "Where did you get your crow from" you asked while his crow was in your hands as you petted the soft little bird "he was assigned to me, you get a kazugai when you pass final selection as they give you important messages or missions" he explained some things about being a demon slayer to you as you listened and had some small talk in between and the crow flying away when it began to get dark as the sun was setting quickly you both noticed at the same time the small yet vibrant Inn not to far "should we stay for the night" you asked him as you were beginning to get tired "sure let's go" he replied quickly as he began walking towards the inn with you following behind him as you both enter you see an old woman as the receptionist "good evening can we get a room for two tonight please" you asked hoping to be able to shower and get some sleep "yes of course dear" she says while handing you your room keys "thank you so much" you said paying her as you take the key and drag tomioka to the room quickly opening it and seeing a cute and nice room with 2 beds next to each other with a balcony, desk, and bathroom you quickly run inside put your bag down and lay on the nice and comfy bed as tomioka walks in closing the door behind him and looks at you basically melting into the bed "are you going to bed right now" he asked in an almost amused tone "no not yet but the bed is really comfy" you said muffled by the pillow your face was buried in "im gonna shower really quick do you mind?" You asked as you sit up "no go ahead" he told you as his crow came back from who knows where and waiting at the balcony window "ok thanks" after you said that you grabbed some clothes and went to shower after 10 minutes you stepped out and dried off getting dressed and doing your hair and simple skin care when you got out you noticed tomioka was on the balcony with his kazugai you looked at them as you smiled "wanna get dinner" you asked him as he agreed and you both found a restaurant nearby "let's eat here it looks good" you said entering while he held the door for you as you both were seated and the waitress took and came with your orders fairly quickly as you both began to eat with tomioka cracking a small but beaming smile after eating his food you quickly finish yours after as you both paid and left heading back to the hotel. After both of you got ready for bed you both chatted for a bit as you both layed down slowly falling asleep.
