Na'vaeh POV
"Yes Jade, I'm on my way now." I assured Jade as I pulled out of the driveway. I was on my way to go pick up Jade for West's Party. I was running a little late and Jade was on the phone pissed.
"Bitchhh you was supposed to been here an hour ago!" "I knew yo ass was going to be late!" She yelled into the phone. I had her on my Bluetooth in my car, so she was hella loud right now.
"I know, I'm sorry, but I'm pulling up now, so come down stairs now." I told her, pulling up to her apartment." Jade lived on the other side of town. I wouldn't call it the hood, but there are better places. It was her first apartment and she worked hard to get her own place. So I was happy regardless of where it was located. And I stayed over there faithfully whenever, because that's my best friend and I'm going to support her through whatever. My dad offered to buy her a place close to me, but she declined. She liked the fact that she worked hard to get her own. And that's all that mattered to her. And even though it's in a rough neighborhood, the apartments are actually pretty nice. They are some of the new ones they built in the community. So that's definitely a plus.
"Whatever. I'm coming down." She said smacking her lips and hanging up the phone in my face.
"Bitch." I mumbled under my breath. While waiting on Jay to come down, I scrolled through my music trying to find something that would put me in a party mood. I finally settled on Glorilla, Tomorrow 2.
"Ayeeeee!!!!" I sung out, rapping the lyrics. "LOOKIN GOOD AS HELL TODAY, JUST SENT MY NIGGA 5 ATTACHMENTS!!" I rapped out loud. Jay had finally came downstairs. She knocked on my window, gesturing for me to unlock the door.
"Ooouuuuu bitchhh I see ya, fine ahh." I said playfully. My bestie was looking good.
"I know bitch, I try, I try. And I must say, you put that shit on best. Them niggas gone be on you tonight. Maybe you can take you one of them fine mfs home." She said while smirking at me.
*Jade and Vaeh Fit*
I rolled my eyes. "Girl bye! I'm just tryna chill and have a good time." I said trying to be serious. But in all honesty, I wasn't really sure if I meant it. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't just fuck around, but depending on the nigga, and the mood, I might bring one home for real, cause babyyyy it has been a minute. And I do mean a minute.
"Bitchhhh whatever, we going to see tonight, I know I'm tryna be on one of them fine ass niggas tonight." She said licking her tongue out, twerking in her seat.
I started laughing. "Girl you play too much, bitch let's ride out." I said pulling out of her apartment building.
When we pulled up to Logic (The club). It was so packed. We literally had to park on the other side of the club and walk about 3 blocks.
"Nuhh uhhh, baby I got heels on." Jade said stumbling as we walked to the club.
"Girl me too, we almost there, look." I said pointing at the club happy asf. I feel like we walked 30 damn miles when it was literally 3 blocks.
Finally at the entrance of the club, the line was still long asf. But of course we know the bouncer. He's a family friend. So he let us in. And yes them hoes was mad.
Now in the club, it was so many people in here. You couldn't even pass by or walk by without bumping into anyone. I grabbed Jade hand, and we walked to the bar to get us something to drink.
"Heyyy, can we get two glasses of Don Julio, straight!" I yelled over the loud music. I must admit, it was definitely vibing in here. The music choice was on point. The niggas were fine. Hell it was even some bad bitches up in here. I'm not a hater. I give credit where's credit due.
Standing at the bar, vibing and dancing to the music, Jade grabbed my hand and started pulling me in the direction towards the VIP section. She was literally dragging me.
"Damn bitch why are you dragging me." I said trying not to fall with these high ass heels on.
"My bad girl, tryna get to the VIP section, it look like I see West over there." She said focused trying to get through the crowd.
"WESLEYYYYYYYY!!!!!!" "HAPPYYYYY BIRTHDAYYYYYY BABYYYYY!!!!" Jade screamed, once we made it to VIP. West stopped his conversation and looked to see who was screaming his name, his government name at that.
"JAYYYYY BAYYYYYY?" "Is that you?" He said coming over to greet us.
"Yeah nigga," she said reaching up to hug him, cause she was short asf. West picked her up and swung her around. He then laid eyes on me.
"I know that ain't who I think it is." "VAEH, wtf man!" He said while picking me up and swinging me around just as he did Jade.
"Lol Happy Birthday Wesleyyyy!" I said giggling and smirking. He hated his real name. See we grew up with West. All through out high school. He's from the other side of Detroit. The side my dad is from. My dad and his dad were best friends, up until West dad died years ago. Did I mention that West owns the club? Yes the biggest club in the city. He owns it.
"Man y'all chill with that shit." He said smacking his lips at me and Jade calling him by his real name. We laughed.
"It's so good to see y'all, I appreciate y'all for coming out to celebrate with me, for real." He said smiling.
"Come on now, you really thought we was gone miss you turning, ummm what it is again? 40? Lmao!" I said jokingly.
He smacked his lips. "25 man!!" And I see yo ass still got jokes." I busted out laughing.
"Yeah that's all good and everything but, you gone let us through the rope, or we gotta stand here like some groupies or something." Jade asked, looking down at the rope that was between us and the VIP section.
"Oh, hell yeah, y'all come on. I want y'all to meet some people." "Aye let em through." West signaled to his security.
As we walked up towards VIP, I noticed a lot of females and men around. I looked around at my surroundings, I didn't know anyone. So I went back to minding my business, catching up with West and dancing and drinking. Jade was in her own world. Talking to some dude of course. He was actually really cute. And he dressed nice. Good job Jade. Jade usually go for the rough necks. Saggy clothes wearing niggas. So it was good to see her talking to the opposite. Checking around the club, I glanced back up towards the couch in VIP, I noticed it was a spot empty. I was kind of glad. Because my feet were killing me in these heels. So I sat down and took them off. Whew, my feet feel so much better. As I was massaging the soreness from my feet, I glanced up and looked over to the side of me and spotted a familiar face. A face that I honestly couldn't get out of my head.
