I wake up at 6:00AM and take a hot shower before drying off and slipping into a pair of shorts and a tank top (in the picture above) before blow drying my hair and brushing my teeth. I jog downstairs to see Rosie cooking breakfast with Dad and I'm taken aback a little. It kind of feels like she's trying to replace Mom... Whatever.

"Rosie, shouldn't you get dressed? We leave soon, right?" I ask and she nods before walking upstairs to get dressed since she showered last night. "Where are you going?" Dad asks, his eyes not leaving the stove "Rosie and I are driving to Anaheim to meet her boyfriend and some of his friends" I say, grabbing three plates from the cupboard and sitting one next to my dad while I held the other two "She has a boyfriend?" he asks and I shrug "I guess so. I never really heard her talk about him until last night" he shrugs, placing two pancakes on each plate along with some bacon and hash-browns. I place each plate on the table before pouring Rosie a glass of Orange Juice and making myself a cup of coffee since it was way too early and I was probably going to be the one driving to and from Anaheim.
Rosie comes back downstairs a few minutes later, dressed in a white dress that almost went to her knees along with nude heels and a jean jacket. "Thank you for preparing my Mr. Mason and Carter" I smile unenthusiastically as Dad tells her she's welcome and it's not a problem.

After breakfast, she grabs her purse and I grab my bookbag and my phone. We both say goodbye to my dad before getting in my car (2014 black Ford Mustang ayyyyy) and I drive to Anaheim. Within the drive, Rosie tells me more about Her supposed boyfriend, Andrew I think is his name?
"Maybe you could date one of his friends, Carter?" she says and I can't help but laugh "Please! I don't need a boyfriend. I have enough to do with work and school and helping you and my dad" I say "I don't need a boyfriend" she turns to look at me "Maybe with a boyfriend you would be a lot happier and less stressful, though?" I roll my eyes "Doubting it" I mutter, turning into the airport and turning off the ignition.
