Noel and Molly walked out of Sifters playfully bickering over who the best Beatle was, each carrying a plastic bag with the records they'd been previously holding in the store. Molly was pretty sure she was seeing things, but the sky seemed to have gotten blue-er since she'd come out of the store with him.

"Are you always just so close?" She laughed, making him chuckle along. "Nah, nah, listen- both John and Paul are equally great songwriters, but Lennon's got the edge, that's all I'm saying-" He defended his opinion, and Molly was quick to cut him off at the end. "Okay, 'I am the Walrus'" she quipped, and he was just as quick to quip back "Alright, 'why don't we do it in the road.'". Molly huffed out another laugh, shaking her head whilst doing so. "Fuck, no, I can't defend that one."

She dug into her bag and fished out a pack of cigarettes- Benson & Hedges -, flicking the top up before handing it out to Noel so he could take one. "Cheers" He accepted with a nod, picking one out and pinching it gently between his index and his thumb. Instead of taking one for herself, she simply set the pack back in her bag afterwards. "D'you need a light too?" She offered, tilting her head up to look at him for an answer; he shook his head, furrowing his brows slightly in confusion. "No, I've one- are you not smoking?" He asked, digging into his own pocket for his lighter. "I'm not too big on these, quite frankly, I just wanted an excuse to chat out here." She shrugged. "Cheeky." He tutted playfully, amused by her reasoning. Noel lit the end of his cigarette and took a drag. "But you do smoke, do you?" He asked- she'd said she wasn't big on these after all, so she must be into something else, he thought.

She nodded. "Em.. weed, i guess— mostly.. could use some right now, too" she half muttered to herself. Molly wasn't ever big on tobacco, It didn't do much for her. That's not to say she didn't smoke it though, she did, like everyone else around her, just not nearly as much.  Noel hummed and blew out a cloud of smoke up into the air before turning to her again. "I might have some back at mine" He commented, trying to come of as nonchalant to hide the fact that he was in fact inviting a girl he'd met only a couple minutes prior to his home. Molly, on the other hand, felt a smile tugging at her lips. "And I'm the cheeky one?" She laughed. "Where's your gaff?" She followed up, thinking about the offer. "On the council state, in Burnage." He said, tilting his head in what she assumed to be the said direction.

From the name, she had an idea of where he lived- she'd gone to Burnage before, maybe once or twice, but she didn't recall ever going to the council estate specifically. Still, she didn't feel as put off by his invitation as she probably should have, so she thought it out, going over the pros and cons of accepting.

On one hand, she had more than enough time for it, and if he wasn't taking the piss, she'd have weed and continue chatting with him, something she'd actually been enjoying. On the other, however, if he was taking the piss, she'd have no weed and there was the odd chance she'd get murdered..

Opting to look at the positives rather than the negatives, Molly gave the taller bloke a nod. "That doesn't sound half bad actually.." She began. "Sure, lead the way". He smiled and nodded back at her, stuffing his free hand in his pocket and turning around in the right direction. He waited for her to step up to his side to start walking, taking yet another drag of his cigarette whilst at it. "D'you live nearby then?" He asked after a brief moment of silence, and Molly pursed her lips, shaking her head before answering. "No, I'm about, what, two hours away if you catch a train". He whistled, turning his head to the side to look at her whilst they walked. "Fucking hell, and where's that?"

"Northwich" She said, as unenthusiastic as ever. Noel raised his brows in acknowledgement- he wasn't all that surprised to know she wasn't really from there, after all, she looked to be around his age and yet he didn't remember ever really seeing her before. "And why're you here then?" He followed up curiously, flicking his head to the side for a brief moment to get his fringe away from his eyes.
