Two months had passed and both Nikki and Georgia were already used to the new Cloud empire.
"Are you ready for another training session?" Master asked the girls as they were handed their swords like usual. They all nodded.
"I'm teaching y'all a new fighting technique. Once I'm done explaining, one of you will practice with me in private while the other two practice with each other."
Nikki seemed nervous.
"You need to close your eyes and slowly breathe in, then summon the power of qi through your mind. Once you open your eyes, you'll find a spiritual orb in your hand. Whatever you do, make sure to control it."
"So Master, who are you taking with you?" Xiaoyu asked, trying to put on her sweetest voice.
"I'm taking Georgia, you and Nikki practice somewhere near us."
Xiaoyu sighed and grabbed Nikki's hand saying, "Come on Nikki, let's go."
Xiaoyu pulled Nikki into another area, leaving Georgia and Master alone together. This seemed so all of a sudden. Master would've never wanted to work with her, so she was confused. Master didn't notice though.
"Alright, now inhale." Master said, inhaling deeply. Georgia inhaled, closing her eyes.
"Now imagine the power in your hand." Georgia started to try and imagine it. It didn't work at first because she had so much stuff going on in her head, but then she finally imagined it. The orb of qi, filled with the powerful magic of the unknown, in her hands. Master's voice broke her concentration as he said, "Open your eyes."
Georgia slowly opened her eyes and looked at her hand. As she had imagined, the orb of qi was there. Master looked at her and asked, "Now that it's in your hand, can you aim well?"
"Does shooting arrows count as aiming experience?"
"I guess so, now throw it at that area of trees over there."
Georgia slowly raised her hand in the air and threw it at the trees. The orb knocked over 10 trees down. Master looked at her with wide eyes.
"That's interesting, I've never seen the power of qi knock down this many trees." Master said.
Georgia became confused. "Is that a good thing?"
"Yes, it means you're powerful. Practice more and maybe you'll succeed later on." Georgia smiled under her mask.
They both could hear Nikki and Xiaoyu talking from afar. "What would you like me to do now?" Georgia asked.
"Let us wait for them to finish."
Xiaoyu and Nikki walked over to them later on asking, "So, what's our homework for today Master?"
Master looked at them, thinking. "Bring me a few of the Sakura flowers from the mountains."
"How many?"
"10."
"Alright, that won't be hard."
"I expect them to be brought to me by tomorrow." Master smiled and walked away.
Georgia started to make her way up to the mountain when Xiaoyu asked, "Come on, did you really think that we'd actually go up the mountain? Let's just buy some from the market uptown."
"That doesn't sound right to do, Xiaoyu." Nikki said.
"Can't you just be a troublemaker for once?"
Nikki looked at Georgia. "I'll do it." Nikki said. Georgia looked at her with disgust.
