Ruin was sitting quietly, kneeling in front of his machine that was currently making him feel like a monster.

He felt guilty for denying Solar's hangout request today, just to sit in his own sorrow.
He felt his hands hold the pocket watch that contained the button to set off the machine...He couldn't bring himself to think of pushing the button.
He didn't understand why he was attached to Solar, he couldn't understand at the moment. He looked up at the top of his machine, unable to take his eyes off the big button on top of the machine that would make the machine completely fall apart.
If he pushed that button, so many months and sweat would be wasted.
But he would have Solar still.
Solar desperately wanted an answer to his woes.
Maybe there was a way to not affect Solar...Maybe....

Suddenly, a woman wearing garments of steel, and with hair made up only of  universal matter appeared before Ruin. She looked like one of the Astral's, but was too human to be one.
"What brings you trouble, Ruin? Didn't we have an agreement? "
"Yes Ma'am...To use the universal matter you gifted me to destroy the creator council..."
"So what are your woes?"
She softly sat in front of Ruin.
"Is it that Animatronic you have been speaking with more often, Ruin?"
Ruin nodded and softly spoke.
"I don't believe I want him gone, Avery. I do not think I do..."
She sighed.

Flashback.

A woman wearing steel armor, with hair made of what looked like a galaxy appeared before Ruin, back when he was more insane than ever.
"GET BACK. What do you want, what are you here for???"
Ruin leaned down and raised an eyebrow, his frown broken and battered.
"This machine will not work."
"What?"
"It will not work. It would only work with universal matter..."
"What is--"
"--Ta ta ta. I see what you are doing here, Ruin. Are you after the creator council?"
"...Yes...Why."
"If I we're to gift you universal matter...Would you use it to destroy them."
"I- Well...I would need to think about it- I don't know what that is- I don't even know who you ARE?!"
"Allow me to make you a deal."

She softly held both of Ruins hands.
"Ruin, my dear apprentice. Love is a very hard thing to redirect...There is only one way to keep Solar alive, while also destroying his creator...However, you need to trust me. It is a very difficult method...requiring patience...soul...and love."
"...Love?"
"How do you think of this man."
"I-I do not know, Aver--"
"I have told you to call be Bunn before, Ruin...But. You have a lot of time, Ruin. You will find the method, I cannot help you a lot...However...You will understand in time."
"...But Bunn...How on earth will I understand? I don't know what you are talking about...
"I can promise you this, Ruin. You are a good person. And good people understand the method with time and patience."
Bunn softly smiled and adjusted Ruins hat.
"My Dear apprentice...You are smart, Kind, Sweet. Your methods may be odd, but it will all fix itself in time...But I must warn you before you even think of pressing that button, okay?"
Ruin nodded and listened carefully.
"Your machines method of removing the creators is not only risky, but honestly stupid."
Ruin frowned as Miss Avery spoke.
"But...You mean well, but with your methods of removing the creators you will ruin your chances... Please...Investigate more, I can help you too just...Try not to destroy as many universes as you are planning."
"I...I will, Bunn."
"Promise me?"
"I promise..."
"Good Apprentice. I will see you soon, just...Get to know him."
She then faded away and Ruin was left with himself again.
He leaned down and put his forehead against the cold, hard concrete.

"I don't understand....But maybe someday I will."
