Chapter Eleven: Home

"How's O doing?" Chloe asked curiously.

"Do we really need to use her codename? It's not like she's even here right now,"

"What? I think it's cute. X + O, right?"

"O is doing good, I think,"

"Good grief, just say Y/n!" F/n rolled her eyes, "It's getting confusing,"

"Aw, did you just admit how slow you are?" Emma playfully teased her.

F/n dramatically gasped, "Oh how you wound me so,"

"Can you guys knock it off and help us," Goh asked, referring to him and Chloe setting up the next destination spot.

"Yeah, yeah, we'll help," F/n sighed in defeat.

"Yeah, F/n. Stop distracting me." Emma teased her again.

"How old are you again? 4? That makes sense that your attention span lasts that long," she playfully remarked.

"Oh yeah? I bet its better than yours miss 'I can't live without my phone'" Emma laughed.

And so they went straight to bickering again.

"Good grief," Chloe sighed.

You woke up and immediately checked your phone. For some odd reason, you didn't really do much on your phone. You felt really crusty, so you decided to hop in the shower.

Afterwards, you got ready for the day. Unfortunately, you didn't have a change of clean clothes since you didn't know you would be gone for this long. However, you caught something in the corner of your eyes.

It was a set of new clothes with a note on it.

"Hey Y/n, I knew you probably didn't bring clothes, so I bought some for you. I hope you like them :)

~ Sonia"

You smiled. You unfolded the clothes to see they were your perfect size, as well as the perfect style too. You loved the outfit she picked out for you.

You then went downstairs to eat breakfast with Sonia.

"Do you like the outfit? I thought it would be really pretty on you, I was right. " Sonia smiled.

"Yeah, I love it. Thank you so much," you hugged her.

As you sat down to eat, you had conversations with Sonia before eventually deciding to head out.

"So big day, huh?"

"You're acing as if this was my wedding," you laughed.

"Alright, well, here's your ticket. I've got some errands to run for my grams, so as much as I'd love to go with you, I can't," Sonia explained, handing you your ticket.

"Thanks for everything, Sonia," You hugged her goodbye.

"Of course N/n." she waved as the train departed.

'where we first met, huh?' you thought.

"Of course, I remember it so well," you said aloud to no one in particular. Eevee climbed into your lap and fell asleep.

You decided to pass the time by playing your favorite games on your phone.

"Attention all passengers! We have arrived at the destination: Pallet Town in the Kanto Region."

You gently shook Eevee, "let's go, bub,"

You breathed in the familiar air as you looked upon your hometown. You walked all the way to your house since it was lunch time and you were STARVING.

"Y/n?" a lady opened the door and quickly embraced you.

"Hi mom," you hugged her back.

"What are you doing here?"

"It's a long story," you sighed happily.

"Come in, I'm making lunch," she smiled.

"Oh with pleasure," you excitedly walked in.

You ran up the stairs to your bedroom, jumping onto your bed. You sat up and looked around. Nothing had changed. It was still as clean as you left it, maybe even more thanks to your mother.

You grabbed your old pictures.

"Wow, I was so ew back then," you cringed at your younger self. Eevee took one look at it and started laughing.

"Hey! You're so mean!" you laughed with her.

"Y/n, lunch is ready!" your mom called.

"Coming!" you sprang off your bed and ran as fast as you could to the table.

"Someone's hungry," your mom laughed.

You excitedly nodded, your mouth was watering as you saw your favorite meal in front of you.

"I made your favorite," she smiled at you warmly, "and this time you can actually take your time and enjoy it since Ash isn't here,"

You giggled, "He's such a big back" you thought in your head. You knew you would get in trouble if you said that out loud so you kept quiet.

"So, how has your life been going?" she initiated a conversation.

"Pretty good, actually. The laboratory has such good food, it's insane," you quickly added, "Nothing as good as yours though,"

"Thank you, but that's not what I meant,"

You gave her a confused look, "What do you mean?"

"I mean," she paused and smiled at you as if she was gonna mention something she shouldn't.

"You and that boy,"
