Not like me

"Why is that long face?" New asked karan while taking out a tshirt. As he received a silent response he tried again "neither Iam your Achi or I can read your mind so ofc I wouldn't know what happened if you don’t speak up" so Karan sighed and spoke up "I miss Achi, Don't know what he might be doing there alone. This world feels so unknown, I wish at least Achi would be here" Karan finished saying while crawling up in the bed.

Hearing his words New chuckled at first finding it funny but when he felt karan's stares at him he quickly went beside karan. "Umm well I don’t know how to comfort you in this state like I wish it was in the drama storyline so that I could help you" New said and karan looked at him not believing what he Just said.

"Ah fine, let's just wait for that stupid deity's announcement of so called mission. Don't worry, Achi will be good there, everything will be good" New reassured Karan and karan nodded in understatement. "New, I can hear you back bitching about me" suddenly the deity voiced out. New rolled off his eyes and karan just laughed.

"When will you come back?" karan asked watching New applying perfume before going out. "Um not sure, if I get late I stay at tay's place" New replied but his eyes widened a bit in the realization. "Oops sorry, I won't stay there. I will be back" he quickly corrected and karan nodded looking back at outside through the window. After finishing New looked back at karan who seemed lost & lonely staring at outside so he thought of something to make karan feel better.

"It’s just dinner tay, don’t have to dress up too much" New exclaimed in disbelief looking at his messed up closet while karan finding clothes there. "And can you stop calling me tay plz?' karan replied without even looking back at New. Hearing that New just hit his own head in realization. "Sorry again, couldn’t help it" New apologised and karan nodded.

"You sure this is okay?" karan asked checking himself in the mirror as New just took off the shirt karan was wearing. "Ofc it is, a plain white t-shirt goes for anything. Even in this plain t-shirt you look good" New said but still karan had the unsure look.

"Well only if you want to impress anyone then-" New said raising his eyebrows teasingly but karan stopped him in the middle "NO! I love only Achi" New chuckled in satisfaction. "so now plz let's go my lover boy. I don’t wanna hear tay's rantings on how I got late" New left saying that karan followed him out.

"Why are you sitting behind?" New asked karan as he saw him sitting in the back seat. "So that tay can sit next to you" karan explained.  "oh yeah I forgot you don’t exist to others. Damn you are smart like in the series" new exclaimed in happiness.

The car stopped in front of a building. Karan was looking around all the coming way there and it didn’t look much different to him comparing to his world. Then his all attention went to the big big posters in the entry of the building until he spotted familiar faces including names TayNew 

"where is this place?" karan asked new. "Oh it’s our company building" new replied but seeing the amusement look in karan's face he added "I told you Tay and I work as partners so the posters are always hanging here" and karan nodded in understatement. "Why you are not going inside then?" karan asked after observing the outside. "I can't just leave you here and If I go in it will be kinda hard to get out. Let just tay come out" New said and karan Just nodded.

After a while tay came out and seeing him New's face dropped as he looked at the back seat to see karan. Yeah tay was wearing a white t-shirt too. "I guess It was a bad idea to make you wear that plain white t-shirt" New murmured looking at karan.

Tay sat in the passenger seat and sighed.  "why didn’t you come in? P'tha asked for you" Tay spoke up. New looked behind by the mirror for a moment and replied "ah it would be crowded so I didn’t go" "yeah it was indeed, leave it. Let's drive quick, Iam starving" Tay changed the topic and new just nodded driving away.

They reached at the restaurant and ordered their foods. Karan sat next to New as New instructed him to do or else he would get confused over Tay & Karan. After a while a guy came with their order and placed it on their table. Before him leaving, New complimented the guy calling him  Handsome with a like sign by hand and the guy bowed in gratitude with a smile.

Witnessing that tay started laughing over them. "What? Are you shipping us?" New asked looking Tay at this state and Tay laughed more while nodding as yes. But New looked over karan's reaction and he was having the look of judging Tay. "What's wrong, karan?" New spoke in his mind for karan to hear. Karan came out of his thoughts and whispered in new's ear "you said it right. He really isn’t like me, he is weird", On that New laughed hard.

After the dinner even though tay insisted new to stay at his condo but new made excuses that he has works bla bla while his schedule was totally clear for the next 2 days. Both left tay at his apartment and left for their own.

New heaved a sigh finally reaching inside his apartment and sat in the couch along with karan. "Karan it would be risky to get you out, especially when tay will be there. You both confuse the shit out of me" New stated and karan nodded in agreement.

Getting out of the bathroom after freshening up, New noticed karan looking down so he asked "what's wrong again? Missing Achi?" "How did you-" before karan could finish new spoke "your that face says it all". Karan looked Down more while murmuring "how do I sleep tonight without Achi"

"Here's your room, sleep well. If you have any trouble, just call me. Iam in the next room." New said leaving karan in the guest room. New insisted him to sleep in his room but karan was like it would seem like he is cheating on Achi so he didn’t sleep and New gave up on convincing the lover boy.

After New left, suddenly the deity appeared which startled karan a bit. "Who seemed more tolerable?" the deity asked roaming around the room and karan looked at him confused. "Ah I mean from Tay & New. Who seemed normal? Even though both none of them is" the deity murmured the last part. "Umm I guess New, that Tay guy indeed looks like me but not like me" Karan replied and the deity laughed on that. "Yeah he is opposite of you, right? Well then there will be changes in the mission" the deity stated while thinking about something. "What's the mission though?" karan asked feeling clueless.

"Make New fall for Tay" the deity exclaimed with excitement...

Hehe A surprise update for y"ll. My mind seriously isn’t working, I dunno what I even wrote at the first place. Plz bear with the storyline, I"ll try to do better after my recovery.
