When I began writing this story earlier this year, it was more than just a return to a project from my childhood; it was a way to bring African folklore, traditions, and storytelling to life for a new generation. Inspired by a children's book I created in school years ago, this story explores the journeys of characters navigating worlds that blend the familiar with the fantastical.
My goal is to invite readers, especially young ones, into a world where they can see themselves reflected in the adventures of Anoumi, Isaaka and others who carry the spirit of African culture. By alternating points of view between male and female protagonists, I hope to offer an inclusive experience, where everyone can find a voice that resonates with their own.
As I continue crafting this tale, I'm eager to hear from you—my readers—on whether this story speaks to you in the way I've intended. Your connection to the characters and themes is what will guide me as I shape the narrative's future. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope these pages bring you as much joy as I've had in writing them.
Now, Enjoy my Loves!
