It was Brawlentine's day...another Brawlentine's day. You never managed to find someone for a long term relationship. Yes, you got asked out or the other way around, but just for the night or a week at best.
As you walked past Starr Park, lost in thoughts, you walked past Tara's stand, noticing a poster with words "Find your soul mate" on it. It really caught your eye, since Tara was skilled at what she did, so maybe she could find you your soul mate...
You entered the stand hesitantly, seeing Tara inside, messing with a tarot deck.
"Um, hello? I saw the poster...the "soul mate" poster outside and I thought I might try it."
You said nervously, not knowing what to expect.
Tara nodded and made her tarot deck dissapear into a thin air as she stood up and walked over to a wooden shelf filled with all kinds of artifacts. She picked up a beautiful pink flower, pulling out one of its big petals. You've noticed that several petals were already missing, still not understanding.
"A petal?"
You raised your eyebrow.
Tara nodded and handed you the petal, saying something in a language (if you could even call that humming a language) you didn't understand.
"Eh, whaat?"
You said in confusion, when suddenly a younger boy that was originally sleeping in the corner of the stand woke up.
"She said, that this is a Soul mate flower petal. It's supposed to start glowing once the moon comes out and lead you to your soul mate."
The sleepy guy said, obviously annoyed, that he had to pause his nap to explain.
Tara turned to him an hummed something more, this time with more temper.
"Oh and it's 20 gems."
The boy added before laying back down and dozing off.
"O-Oh! Of course...here you go."
You said as you handed Tara the gems.

That evening, when the sun went down and the moon rised, you realized, that the petal, Tara gave you has truly started glowing.
"Oh my! It really IS glowing!...But what do I do now?"
You thought for a while before trying to turn around with it, which caused the petal to glow even more.
"Wait...are you showing me the way? Is that it??"
You immediately started following the way the petal glowed the most at, running through Starr Park excitedly, your eyes glued on the glowing petal.
"No way, it's glowing so intensly, I must be clo-!!!"
Suddenly you crashed into someone, making both you and the person fall on your butts.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I-"
You immediately shut up, when you noticed a pink haired girl holding another glowing petal in her hands. You both were looking at each other before you finally stood up and tried to walk a bit further from the girl, causing the petal's glow to fade lightly.
"Does that mean...?"
The pink haired girl approached you, bringing her own petal next to yours, making them glow into a purely white light, before dissapearing into thin air.
"It does."
You answered as you were both looking at each other in confusion.
"But you're a girl!"
The pink haired girl said with shock in her tone.
