After the ordeal of the fairy type gym leader Opal finding a replacement, the gym leaders all realized they'd need to do the same one day. After much planning and advertising, the gym leaders of Galar host a special year long competition!
The search for an apprentice!
Trainers sign up for which gym they'd like to work towards, and group into teams based on types. These teams will work together up until the end of the competition, where any remaining multiples will be weaned out by battle! Gym leaders are also given the option to choose a successor themselves, pushing that trainer up the ranks instantly to be their apprentice.

Milo with the grass gym!
Nessa with the water gym!
Kabu with the fire gym!
Bea with the fighting gym!
Gordie with the rock gym!
And Raihan with the dragon gym!
Piers with the dark gym and Opal with the fairy gym remain out of the competition due to having already chosen apprentices a few years ago.

18 Fire trainers!
22 Fighting trainers!
12 Rock trainers!
And 2 Dragon trainers!

These four trainers are on a great journey through Galar, hoping to one day become apprentices and train under their chosen gym leaders! Unknowingly, they may meet some trouble on the way... The story begins on the very first day of the competition, where our Hero's are getting ready to begin a brand new adventure...
