Finding Light in Tears

Suji dissolved into more tears, her sobs echoing in the cluttered living room. "I thought he was the one, Hyesoo. We had plans, we talked about the future!" She pulled back slightly, wiping her nose with the back of her hand. "Why do I keep falling for the wrong guys?"

You're going to find someone who truly appreciates you," she said, her voice steady, allowing her hope to lift through her words. Hyesoo Said.

Suji wiped her puffy eyes, looking like a raccoon who lost a fight with a mascara tube. "How do you know? You've never even been in love!"

Hyesoo shrugged, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Yes, but I've seen enough rom-coms to know how these things go!

"I just do know now. Love always finds a way. It might take time, but it's out there for you," Hyesoo encouraged gently. The words resonated deeply with her, echoes of her past lives urging her to believe in the truth she had often dismissed.

The next morning, Hyesoo woke up feeling excited and a bit nervous—today was her first day at DreamWorks. 

When she arrived at the office, she felt a rush of energy. As she entered the meeting room, she spotted J-Hope, her team leader, who greeted her with a warm smile.

The meeting went well, with everyone sharing ideas for an upcoming product launch. Hyesoo felt nervous at first, but as she shared her concept—"Together We Dream," focusing on community connections—she gained confidence. J-Hope and the team really liked her idea, encouraging her and making her feel valued.

After the meeting, J-Hope approached her. "You did great in there! I'm glad you're on the team," he said. Hyesoo felt a thrill at his compliment. 

"Thank you! That means a lot coming from you," Hyesoo replied, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Hyesoo returned to her desk, her heart still racing from the positive feedback of the meeting and the encouragement from J-Hope. She was organizing her notes when she heard a voice behind her.

"Hey, Hyesoo! A bunch of us are heading to the cafeteria for lunch. Want to join?" It was Hyunseok, one of her fellow marketing team members, his infectious smile making the invitation feel even more welcoming.

"Sure, I'd love to!" Hyesoo replied, standing up and brushing her hair back. She felt a mix of nervous excitement and anticipation at the thought of mingling with her new colleagues.

 "Everyone, this is Hyesoo! She just joined our team today," Hyunseok announced, his voice ringing above the noise.

"Welcome, Hyesoo!" a few voices chimed in unison, and she met their friendly gazes with a smile.

They invited her to fill her tray with food from the buffet, and as she chose her meal, Hyesoo felt a growing sense of acceptance.

J-Hope settled into his office, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of his daily routine. His phone buzzed, catching his attention. It was a call from his mother.

"Hi, Mom!" he answered, the warmth of her voice instantly easing the weight of the day.

"Hobi! I have news," she exclaimed, her tone brimming with excitement. "Your brother is coming in from America today! His flight lands at 11:30 AM."

A smile spread across J-Hope's face. "Really? That's great! I can't wait to see him. It's been ages!" He felt a surge of joy at the thought of reuniting with his younger brother, whom he hadn't seen in almost two years.

"Could you pick him up from the airport?" his mother continued, her voice becoming slightly more serious. "I would, but I have a dinner aligning with some community members at home so I don't think I can go and collect him."
