My phone alarm went off beside me and my twin brother popped his head in the room.
"Time to get up." He said
"I know." I said sitting up
"Moms boyfriend is downstairs just letting you know." He said looking back over his shoulder and then over to me
"Of course." I said shaking my head
"Right." he said laughing, "Anyway, good luck with your game today, show those scouts whats up."
"You know it." I said getting out of bed
He laughed and left the room, I walked downstairs and went in the kitchen, Jeff looked at me and I just ignored him as I grabbed my cereal off of the refrigerator.
"Morning son." He said
"I am not your son." I said not looking at him
"Will be." He said
"Shit, keep thinking that." I said scoffing, "Last time I checked I don't have a father and I definitely don't want you to try and be one, Julian might not mind that much." I said putting the milk away, "But I do mind."
"Well either way it goes, you're going to respect me." he said
"Nah I'm really not." I said opened the silverware drawer
"Yes you will." He said
"Sike." I said leaning down on the counter and eating my cereal
He got up and walked over to me, he stood over me and I chuckled as I kept eating.
"What'd I say?" He asked
"Bunch of bullshit, why?" I asked not looking at him, "And here's a reminder, don't roll up on me like you're gonna pop off, because I'm never scared." I said looking over at him
He moved my bowl and I sighed as I pushed off of the counter and looked at him.
"Now, what'd I say?" He asked
I looked down at him and laughed to myself before picking him up and dropping him onto his head on the floor, I moved my bowl back over to me and went back to eating while he rolled around on the floor. My sister came in the room and laughed as she stepped over him, she looked at me and I just shrugged.
"What did I miss?" She asked
"Just establishing who's the bitch in the house." I said shrugging
"Props." She said giving me dap, "Anyway, what time is your game? I might come watch."
"They put me in the 3rd round, so it'll start at about 3." I said washing my bowl
"Perfect, i'll slide through." She said nodding
"Good looks." I said kissing her cheek and walking off
"EW!" She said from the kitchen
"You love me though." I said going back to my room
I grabbed a pair of briefs and went to take a shower, after my shower, I got out and grabbed my tooth brush out of the cup, I rinsed it off and spread some Colgate over it, I started brushing my teeth and my mom burst in the bathroom, I jumped a little and looked over at her.
"You wouldn't have to see this if you'd just knocked." I said shaking my head and pulling on my boxers, "Now what do you want?"
"Stop being such an ass, did you try to hurt Jeff?" She asked
"Why try when I don't even have to put forth the effort?" I asked walking past her, "He came up to me with some bullshit, so I put him in his place." I said shrugging
