I was sitting in my room infront of mirror, waiting for mumma to call me downstairs. Today, my future inlaws are coming at home for the first time and i am going to meet my future husband for the first time.

Soon mom came to take me downstairs. My heart was beating so fast that i was afraid someone may can hear it beating from a far.

Reaching downstairs, i didn't got the courage to look up but i could still feel a burning gaze on my skin. I sat down beside mumma when a woman who looked like the his mother said

"apki beti toh bahut sundar hai" she said smiling while looking towards me. My papa smiled and said "mujhe lgta hai ki ab in dono ko akele me baat kar leni chahiya."

Mumma agreed with this and told me take him to my room to have a talk and after gaining a little courage i looked up at him and that when our eyes met but me being dumbass broke the eye contact feeling shy. I stood up and told him to follow me and started walking towards my room without even thinking if he is following me or not.

Reaching my room i looked back and saw him already staring at me. I told him to sit on the chair kept near the study table and myself sat on the bed. I was thinking of how to start a conversation when i heard him saying.

"Hi..myself Reyansh"..hearing this nothing came out anything other than."Aaradhya"

"Well nice room" he said looking towards the surroundings.

"Thankyou"

"I wanted to ask you if anyhow are you forced in this marriage?"

"No"...umm that turned put pretty rude but i shrugged it off.

"Ummm... i wanted to tell you a few things"

"Yeah sure no problem"

"Can we please do this marrige after 3-4 months...actually its my cousin's marriage after 2 months and i don't want to give a load of 2-2 marriges on mom and papa"

"Mujhe isse koi pareshani nhi hai agar aap aise hee khush hai toh".....my heart fluttered hearing his reply..

"Umm ok then should we now head downstairs" i asked

"Yeah sure" he replied.

I stood up and was going towards the door when my foot got stuck in the carpet and i slipped. I shut my eyes ready to feel the pain which i never felt infact i found someone's hand on my waist. I opened my eyes and saw Reyansh and my face just inches away. It was like if even one person moved our lips would surely touch. He helped me to stand straight and went outside after muttering "careful ".

I slowly walked downstairs and saw my parents and Reyansh's parents hugging each other. I reached and stood beside Reyansh who wispered in my ears...

"Could i please get your number beautiful lady?" Which made my heart beat in a inhuman speed. He passed me his mobile and i typed my number and gave it to him. He saved my number as i don't know what and closed his phone.

Soon mrs. Raghuwanshi came towards me and hugged me while saying "meri hone wali bahu bahut sundar hai" i blushed and muttered her a thanku when Reyansh's sibling came towards me and said "ab to aap hamari bhabhi lgti ho" i smiled at them and soon they left . I looked at my side and saw Reyansh looking at me. Blush crept on my cheeks and i was sure i would have been looking like a red tomato. I looked down not able to handle his gaze.

We soon sat near the sofa discussing about the marriage. "Ji humne pandit ji ko bula liya hai wo bas aa hi rahe honge" said mumma happily.

Soon pandit ji came and looked at our kundliya. "Chhatees me se tees gud mil rahe hai" he said making everyone happy while i felt a little shy.

"Iss saal do achhi tarikh hai jisme bacho ki shaadi kara sakte hai ek 1 mahine baad aur ek 3 mahine baad" he said.

"Mujhe lgta hai ki 1 mahine baad ki taarikh sahi hai" Mrs. Raghuwanshi said making me nervous because i didn't wanted this marriage to happen before 3 months but wasn't able to speak anything, afraid that it would hurt his family members feelings.

My hands were trembling a little when i heard a deep voice "Maa mai chahta hu ki ye shaadi 3 mahine baad ho". I looked at Reyansh and saw him looking at me with worried look but soon passed me a small smile which i passed back.

"Aaradhya Beta tumhe koi pareshani to nhi hai 3 mahine baad shaadi se" Mrs. Raghuwanshi asked me making me look at her.

"Ji nahi" i told her in a low tone.

"Thik hai phir pandit ji aap teen mahine baad wala muhrat taye kar dijiye" she said smiling.

"Aur engagement hum agle hafte kar lete hai" mumma added.

I felt good after hearing this and looked at Reyansh muttering a small thank you with a smile which he soon returned.

"Ji ab hume chalna chahiye aur hum kal engagement ki shopping kar lenge" Mrs. Raghuwanshi said.

They stood up and started to leave but my eyes were stuck on Reyansh. He looked back at me smiling and waved me a bye while I too waved and started moving towards my room.
