Aayla was in her room thinking about her decision. No, she wasn't having second thoughts. She was satisfied with her answer, she did what she wanted. And she was grateful that her family was so understanding and supportive. Even in this century, there are parents who still force their grown up, adult children about things. Whereas Aayla was lucky enough to voice out her thoughts.

But one thing which was constantly bothering her was Azlaan and Zeeshan's friendship. She knew they were great friends and she wanted them to remain the same. Aayla never wished to create a rift between them, although she always maintained her distance from Zeeshan. She was well aware how much he meant for Azlaan. And if her decision will create distance between them then Aayla won't be able to forgive herself.

Getting frustrated with her thoughts Aayla got up groaning, she needed a distraction. And she knew what exactly will distract her. Leaving her room, Aayla tiptoed towards Azlaan's office where he have a personal mini library. From where Aayla steals novels. It's not that she isn't allowed to read or take books from Azlaan. But the actual stealing is that Aayla have hidden her romance novels there, between Azlaan's fashion catalogs, action-thriller novels, and fantasy novels.

Azlaan loves reading, everyone is aware of his love for books. He can a finish a novel in one sitting without any bother. And this habit of his passed on to Aayla which everyone is yet to find. And Aayla is not ready to let anyone know. She likes her little secret. And wished it to remain a secret.

Reaching the shelf, Aayla took out a novel she recently found. She doesn't only read the Most rated novels but she prefers the under-rated ones more. It doesn't bother her that no one knows about the book she is currently binge reading as it is yet to be discovered. Rather it makes her ecstatic that it's only her who found the great story and there's no one to argue with her about who loves the dark haired sarcastic protagonist more. It's just her and her fictional lovers.

Looking at the book cover her eyes shone with excitement as the cover looked too alluring. Quickly hiding the book in her arms she ran towards her room locking the door behind her back.

Dragging her chair near the tall french window Aayla sat on it comfortably. It's time to meet her next crush.

" Zeeshan."

" Yes abbu?" Zeeshan asked as both of them entered the house side by side.

" Please talk to Pari." Masood said.

" Okay but about what?" Zeeshan frowned.

" About Aayla. Pari shouldn't hold grudge against her just because she said no to her brother." Masood added.

" Abbu you know Pari isn't like that. She is a sweetheart, she will never do something like that. It's just she is extremely possessive of me and on top she loves Aayla, so she is just hurt. Don't worry I'll talk to her. She'll come around." Zeeshan said easing his father.

" Yes, my children are kindhearted like their mother." Masood smiled remembering his beloved wife.

" What about their father? Doesn't he have a kind heart?" Zeeshan teased.

" He had. But their mother stole his heart and then left, forever." Masood said with a sad smile and glistening eyes.

" Abbu don't." Zeeshan sighed as he hugged his father gently rubbing his shoulders.

Masood was head over heels for his wife. He was completely whipped. Losing his wife surely brought a storm in his life, turning it upside down in the most disrupting way which left him shattered. Masood was grateful of his son, his 14 year old boy stood like a strength of pillar for his father.
