Chapter 1

"Jen this is crazy... when do we find out the rest of the acts?" Annabella asked her.

"At the meeting next week," she said.

"Think it'll be anyone good?" Anabella asked. " Wasn't the best music back then?" Jen asked with a laugh. The two women had grown up together, best friends, just like sisters, recording, touring, etcetera.

"Of course it was! Opening for Debbie Gibson and Tiffany launched our careers!!" Ana said

" I agree it did," Jen replied," Maybe they'll be on the tour, wouldn't that be wild?"

"That would be freaking awesome!!!" Ana grinned.

"I can't wait to find out now!"Jen said," I HAVE to know who our tour mates are."

"A whole week!! I can't believe it!! Too long of a wait..." Ana said.

" I know but maybe we will get lucky and a week will go by?" she asked. Ana giggled," Come on let's go get something to eat, and then we can do some work." The two women headed out to grab a bite to eat. A week had passed and the girls were headed to the meeting for Mixtape. " Oh shoot! My phone is in the car, I'll be back!" Jen said," Go on and I'll catch up." "Sure,' Ana said and headed towards the meeting, she found the room but as soon as she stopped in the doorway she froze when she heard a familiar laugh. " Hey!" the voice said, talking to someone in the room. " How are you doing?" a female voice asked. No! No! was all Anabella could think this was all in her head. She looked and then he turned a little bit to hug the blonde and that's when he turned around completely and his blue eyes met her startled brown ones.

 " Excuse me," Ana said and turned walking swiftly down the hallway and running right into Jen. 

" Hey, meeting's the other way!" Jen said surprised. 

" Bella wait!" a voice said caught up to them. 

" I can't," Ana whispered to Jen. 

Jen looked up to see Joey Mcintyre standing there," Oh please tell me it's just you," Jen said to him. 

Joey rubbed the back of his neck" Actually no it's not just me. There's Deb, Tiff, and---" Joey began, knowing very well she was asking if the rest of The Block was here on this tour too.

"They are all here, aren't they? Even him?" Jenny asked.

"Yes, But,-" he began.

"No I'm with Ana on this.... we didn't know... if we had-" she began.

"Hey hold on!" Joey said quickly," This is an opportunity. I can't let you guys just walk away because....of history." 

Anabella finally turned around to face him," History?" she hissed at him angrily," Did you conveniently forget WHY we broke up Joseph?" 

He sighed," No...look that was completely on me, but can we not do this today...out here? There are others inside waiting for us. Mixtape is one of the biggest compilation tours there is. Tickets for this go on sale tomorrow. " 

"WHAT!" Anabella said. 

" Yeah 10 am," Joey told them," They are announcing the lineup at 9 am on GMA with all of us, and then the tickets go on sale right after that. We expect to sell out in every city."

"Fuck," Jen whimpered wiping her eyes, "does he know we are going on this tour?"

"He hasn't seen the lineup list. He's had his hands tied with his health club and restaurant. He's been too distracted to ask who's going to be doing this," Joey told her softly.
