Chapter 3

Jen's mind was distracted as much as if not more than anas... the last time they were in New York... was when she found out Jordan had been fooling around the first time.... she never confronted him till months later... but she remembers hearing the noises from his hotel room.

The girls got to the airport and Ana hadn't really said much of anything herself. She didn't want to think.

"We got to be a united force against these boys," Jen finally said, "have each other's backs!"

"We have to, or I might die literally," Ana said quietly." I thought he was out of my life, what I felt for him was too real for me to deal with just acting like he's just a co-worker."

"I understand. I like Luke we are having a blast but I don't love him, not like I loved Jordan," Jen said, "so don't let me get alone with him.. ever... his charm and seduction have never been something I can avoid.."

"Oh well this is perfect," Ana sighed," When have I ever said No to Joe? I'm not going to be able to hate him for very long."

"I know.. what a disaster!" Jen mumbled.

Ana groaned softly," Those baby blue eyes. He's trouble," she grumbled," major trouble"

"Yup... they both are..." Jen smiled as their plane was announced

The girls headed to board the plane, their carry-ons with them, their boarding passes in hand.

"I got you girly!" Jen promised side hugging her

"Thanks," Anabella said, glad to have Jen with her.

"You're welcome girly," Jen smiled

They were getting settled in their seats on the plane and buckled up. Once all the passengers were aboard, they got ready for take off with the attendant going through the safety details.

"I miss New York..." Jen said.

Ana looked surprised,' You do, why?" she asked her.

"Forget the one experience but it's a beautiful city..." Jen said.

" I suppose," Ana replied. New York only served to remind her of nights with Joe. Stuff she'd rather forget. Walking to dinner with him, and a whole lot of other stuff as well.

"I know there are bad memories but the city is nice," Jen said.

"yeah except everything I did was in the city,' Ana said softly," Maybe for you it's nice."

"I'm sorry girl.. so sorry..." Jen said hugging her.

"Thanks,' Ana whispered. She wanted to know she could go and do this without feeling like she was going to fall apart.

They tried to rest on the way there. When they arrived Jen was sort of excited and even more so seeing Debbie and Tiffany at the hotel.

Debbie and Tiffany gave Jen and Ana hugs, and were so happy to see them.

"Hey, girls!!!" Debbie said.

Ana returned the hugs," hey Deb, hey Tiff," she said to him.

"You excited yet?" Tiffany asked.

"I'm not," Ana confessed

"It's Joe isn't it?" She asked sadly.

" I can't...he makes it so hard," Ana said softly. "Why did you two break up anyway?" Debbie asked softly.

Ana sighed, "he moved then never came back..."

Debbie looked confused," What do you mean he moved and never came back? I mean surely he called right? talked to you on the phone, texted? something," she said.
