I was down on one knee. She can speak? She can speak. I missed her voice, I honestly did. Annabelle still has that bracelet, the one I gave her when we were younger. I forgot all about it, but when I saw it ... that memory flashed in my mind. My little Anna.. big brother... how can she still love me with all the shit I have put her through.
I rise from the ground, my head still down. Everyone is still staring at the direction she ran in. Why is there no whispers? "Why is everyone so silent?" I asked.
"Annabelle just shifted and ran off. Her wolf was as black as the midnight sky. It was eerily beautiful." Jace, my soon to be third, told me. Black? Our family never had a black wolf, we were usually on the scale of grey.. or at least that's what I know from our dad's side.
"I'm sorry.. my little Anna.." I murmured under my breath.
-Nathan Nightwing-
I began to walk through the forest. School doesn't matter today, not like anything important happened anyway. I looked around, wondering where I had headed. I have been walking for half an hour now. I walked a few feet forward more when my eyes focused on something in front of me. There was a willow tree. This willow tree was different though.
It wasn't green at all, like others are, one half was a deep caramel brown while the other was black. It was breathtaking. I spread my wings and flew to one of the caramel branches. I sat down and just stared at the leaves.
I heard footsteps approaching and a wolf stepped out of the forest. My supernaturals went crazy in my head. I stayed still and just watched the wolf. It slowly walked to the other side of the tree, I heard it shift and a sigh. "It's a female." I heard her climbing the tree. Then the smell hit me. It smelled amazing. I didn't know what the smell was, but I was addicted. Oh shit. My mate.

My mate was around here somewhere. I could smell him. I just wanted to run into his arms and know that everything was going to be okay. I know it wasn't. No one wants me. I'm a freak, a freak who will hurt whoever comes close to me. He couldn't be near the willow tree right?
I spread my wings, "Time to test these out." I flew off the branch. It was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. I flew around in the air a few times, before slowly making my way to the caramel side of the tree. I land softly on a high branch and look below me. Oh my cereal. It's Nathan. As soon as I see him, of course, I stumble and fall off the branch. I try and stretch out my wings as I descend, but the branches tear at them. I land on something with an oompf, but I don't feel any pain. Instead I feel tingles.
I look up and I see that I have landed in Nathan's arms. Great. When he see's that I am his mate, his eyes widen and guess what. He fucking drops me. This time I land on the ground. Thanks Nathan, glad to see you too. I stand up and dust off my pants and sweatshirt. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry Anna, are you okay?" He doesn't know I can speak yet? Guess I'll wait for him to know.
I nodded my head and looked at him. "So we are mates then.." He said. I slowly nodded my head and then looked away. My head was a mess. My ex-bestfriend is my mate. Is that why my heart stung when I saw him with other girls? "Yes Annabelle, that is why. Since we were only minutes away from arising, we sensed our mate with unmated hybrids, and we felt let down." Galaxy said.
Tears began to well in my eyes, "He doesn't want me, does he?" I asked. When Galaxy wouldn't respond I began to shake. Nathan quickly stepped forward and intertwined his hand with mine. I stopped shaking but instantly stepped away from his hand.
"Can I meet your supernaturals?" He asked slowly. I thought about it for a little bit before slowly turning around. " I don't deserve a mate. I killed my parents. I am scarred. Guess I will just let him see my supernaturals anyway, no harm done I guess." I nodded my head.
I changed into my angel and spread my wings. I looked into his eyes and saw that they held shock, but he quickly covered that up. Why was he shocked? Doesn't he already know that I am a triple hybrid?
"Hi, my name is Mist. I am Anna's angel." Nathan looked me up and down, and his mouth was slightly open. I giggles and he instantly blushed. Mist is really pretty. I then changed into my wolf. I really didn't stay in that form for too long, because he couldn't really hear me since we couldn't mind link. I was a midnight black wolf, with a white heart on the middle of my chest, under my head. I still don't know what color Galaxie's eyes are though. I shifted into Dawn.
I kept my wings closed, and she introduced herself. "My name is Dawn, I am Anna's demon. Can we see your supernaturals now?" He nodded and changed into his wolf first. It was as big as mine, maybe a little bigger, and was a nice caramel color. His eyes were an electric blue, and he had a grey crescent on his chest. I ran my hands throughout his fur and he purred. I giggled and he transformed into his angel. His angel had multicolored eyes, and he was slightly taller. "Hey, my name is Night. I am Nathan's angel." He then changed back into himself, but he looked nervous.
We both just stood there for a moment before Dawn spoke out. "Hey Nathan," He looked me in the eyes. "can we see your demon? Dusk."
